Can we start recording a new stat that reduces QBs INTs due to tipped balls or poor WR play? I've seen at least 3 passes today in different games where the QB couldn't have made a better throw, the ball hits his WR right in the hands, but the defender somehow comes away with ball due to an odd bounce.
Heck, there were even two sure fire INTs that ended up as catches (and one for a TD), so some QBs will ultimately get good stats for bad passes while others will get bad stats with INTs that are 100% the fault of the WR.
It wasn't luck, it was stripped.
so having a WR let the ball bounce out of his grasp into a defenders arms who does nothing to pry it from the WR is considered a strip?
its amazing talent and reflex on the defenders part to snatch it, but that's 100% luck that Harvin didn't catch that ball.
