Yea, you're certainly right. He hasn't done much to help the team.

Romo is not *the* problem, he's just not championship level imho. He can be great occassionally, but he's not consistent enough and has a somewhat poor record under pressure. Cowboys have lots of problems :

Mediocre coaching
Iffy Offensive line
Iffy Special teams
Mediocre defense overall

Really all they have are decent recievers and backs that imho are good enough for a championship team. To be a contender in any real way they need about 15 players at least along with good coaching.

Those stats are kind of a lie, you have to look at who they've played. And you left out the most important defensive stats of all :

Forced turnovers + returns for TD.
