Thats why I think he's a big baby.
Last week:
Bad thrown = Brett holds his elbow yet he didn't hold his elbow after a couple amazing passes later that game
This week:
Bad thrown = he get's up limping.

He only 'gets hurt' after he throws bad passes

Oh I think I threw the game winning touchdown pass? *run run jump jump jump*

Oh - I actually fell down and made a horrible thrown? *hobble hobble gimp gimp*

(Yes I know his jumps weren't great but he was way more mobile after that pass than the last one)

i'm not sure what you ladies are smokin, but favre was noticably limping during the celebration td that was called back.

Well, that was a fun game, no matter the result. Was sure hoping he was in bounds there at the end, but oh well.

We look so great at some points, but completely out of sorts at others. :\

Damn. Two of my favorite teams...It's tough to root for both...and it's nearly impossible to root against either...

BUT, it was a hard-fought close game all the way through, and that's my favorite kind of football...win or lose, I prefer a close game where every play counts...much more so than the blow-out between Oakland and Denver today.
I was hoping that Favre would win what's sure to be his last game at Lambeau Field...but, it wasn't to be.

Well, I was willing to give McDaniels' goofy ways a chance, but I think it's time for him to go. Denver isn't the most talented team, but they should be winning at least nearly as much as they lose. There's no excuse for this.

Does anyone know why they traded Hillis? I guess they thought they were selling high?

Hillis wasn't doing shit at Denver. He had one or 2 good games near the end of a season when all of the RBs were hurt. He shined for a game or 2, got hurt and was out for the rest of the season. IIRC this was Shanahan's last season there. McD stepped in and Hillis had some bad fumbles and overall didn't do well, so he was traded.

I may be off a bit on the timeline, but it sounds right.

holy crap that was a heck of a game last night. poorly officiated all around but that seems to be the case more often then not in the league this year. it was nice for the packers to finally win a close one, and it could not have come at a better time.

i also want to point out once agian how much of a whiner brad childress is for blaiming officiating on the loss. on the nfc north blog, there is a article about how how pissed he was at the officiating, which in an of itself is not that bad, except its the calls that he chooses to call out as being bad. namely the facemask on mathews at the end. that was about as obvious a facemask as you can get yet chilly ripped on the ref for calling it. He also never bothered to mention the touchdown that shouldnt have been to quarless....probably because he was to stupid to challenge it and didnt want to bring attention to his major screw up.

at least when the packers loose and there is poor officiating they dont blame the refs. they say that there were other plays that they failed to execute on that mattered more then the bad calls.

Well, the Vikings lost again. Childress complained about the officiating, and I sort of agree, but there were a lot of bad calls that benefited both teams. The Packers' bobbled TD pass should have been challenged and then it's possible that drive could have ended in a FG instead of a TD. Similar to how Shiancoe caught a TD pass and it sure looked like he maintained control throughout the catch (even though the ball hit the ground it didn't get jostled by it), but it was called back and they ended up with only a FG. There was the hit out of bounds when one of the Packers supposedly hit Moss, but I didn't really see it. Other than that, there were a few really bad calls by the officials on Viking TDs, where the ruling on the field was obviously wrong, but those were recalled. So the refs really just got the Vikings' hopes up more than anything.

Officiating was kinda bad, but it went for both teams. Childress is a tool, Favre sucked dick. Good game overall to watch.

Also, the Vikings fan motioning a thumbs down when the Harvin TD got overturned was apparently as blind as the back judge.

Both the Packers and Vikes played horrible. But it is what it is and the Vikings continue to not disappoint me by disappointing me.

I agree about the thumbs down thing. It was 100% not a touchdown, and replay clearly showed this. Its the same as me being a packer fan but admitting we got lucky on the quarless touchdown that should not have been. it was obvious he lost control on the way down and landed out of bounds if they had overturned it i would not have been booing the officials.

cannot wait for tonights game, although i'm torn who i want to win...

cowboys losing is ALWAYS a great thing to see.

the giants lose, and my redskins are sitting in first place in the NFCE.

hmmm, think i will root for a tie.

all in all i think i will root for the cowboys to lose, cause the giants haven't even hit a tough part of their schedule yet.

Yeah wow. I was sort of hoping they wouldn't catch that but I knew they'd overturn it. And it was Childress' own fault that the Quarless TD wasn't overturned. He's such a terrible head coach. I hope he gets fired.

Oh yeah, speaking of classy fans, did anyone hear all the Green Bay fans booing the injured Viking player in the first half? SUPER classy. And booing Favre too! Even Philly fans didn't boo McNabb when he returned as a beloved patriot!

I will beet heavily they were NOT booing the injured Vikings player. That doesn't even make sense. If they were to be happy he was hurt they'd cheer. I've been to MANY games and Lambeau, and I can assure you there was no "booing" for an injury.

As for booing Favre, why not? He left the team (yes I know he was traded, but it was due to his actions) and held it hostage for years. Putting yourself ahead of the team just isn't going to fly. He deserves those boos more than anyone.

You should be hoping for the Giants to lose. The Redskins are lucky to have the record they do after playing the way they did in Chicago. The Giants are hot right now and if they win I wonder if the 'Skins can catch them.

Myself, I hope the Cowboys lose just because I hate them, but it's not really important to me.
