So, is there really any doubt that the only reason the Texans won the AFC South was because Payton wasn't playing?
Ugh, another Thursday, another awful game. =(

Texans got shell shocked in the first quarter but the Defense made adjustments and they fought back quite well. Hard for any defense to defense against Luck when he is so money on his passes. And yet again JJ Watt is unreal, how in the hell is this dude this fuckin good?

The man has DPOY wrapped up in week 6. Incredible.
Wat? Reggie Wayne is pretty much known outside of Indy.Luck is my MVP at this point. He's got a castoff bunch of RB's. WR's that no one outside of Indy or fantasy football would know. And is literally dragging that team to wins.
He doesn't have any where the tools to work with that Peyton or Rodgers do. The defense and RB that Wilson does. He's carrying that team.

I agree but he does have Wayne and Richardson is really coming along. I would not argue against him being the MVP, I just think Watt would be a serious contender if Houston were a better team.
I fully expect Peyton or Wilson to end up with it at the end of the season though.

Eh, Wayne is 35 and coming off ACL repair. He can still ball...but lets be real here. Frankly I'm surprised that he did come back this year. Guy is an incredible athlete no doubt, but he's definitely on the twilight of a career.
I understand this argument, but this isn't a valid MVP argument in my opinion.
If this were the same season that the Pats went 18-1, would you give the MVP to Luck over Brady? Probably not, because it doesn't really matter your roster as much as it matters your individual performance.
If we're going off roster, we should have given Manning the MVP for missing an entire season with his neck injury. Indy only won like what, 4 games that year?
