Last year? I take it you haven't been watching football very long.

Conversation held by Lubbie Smith and ST unit with 11 seconds left in the fourth quarter, up by 2.

"Special Teams unit, get over here! Alright fella's, all we need to do is keep their return anywhere behind the 40 yard line, ok?"

"OK coach! So we're kicking deep and pinning them back there?"

"No, no, that's way too dangerous, they could return it 90 yards for a TD! We're gonna squib it to the 30, so you guys will have only have 10 yards to stop them, ok?!!?"

"Uhhhhhhhh, whatever you say coach"

yeah i was wondering why they did a pooch kick. seems like it would be far better to keep them back.

yep, lubbie and his staff are horrific. That is the second time he has cost us a W with his pussy shit (last year vs. Minny, same exact situation).

There in a fucking dome, let Gould boot that shit as far as he can and we have a good shot at keeping them <30 yard line. What a fucking idiot

Sick stiff arm by LT

Norv Turner really sucks at calling plays. Why throw on 3rd and 2?
Earlier at goaline he threw the ball 3 times, albeit Gates should've made that catch.

Did you honestly expect anything more from a guy that didn't even start in college?

Anyone think that the NFL would benefit greatly from changing the pass interference penalty from a spot penalty to a 15 yarder? I think it was the Jaguars-Broncos game where pass interference was called even though neither defensive player touched the receiver until after the ball had gone past him.

Overall, it just seems too common for QBs to toss it way downfield, knowing a penalty call is much more likely than an actual catch.

And here they are, lol.

Wow, kinda sucks, Jake Hester's first carry in the NFL is a fumble.
