ueah, it's almost disturbing to watch. he seems so confused out there and with 4 years leatning the offense it's pathetic.Originally posted by: dbk
Is Cassell just really afraid of taking the hit? He seems to gives up on the play prematurely and ends up either tucking it or just throwing it at the ground.
he has the old "tall, strong arm" thing going but really, he just doesn't seem to get it. he missed wide open passes all night.
maybe he is just afraid of getting hit :shrug;
put in guitterez already,damn.

All you people arguing need to remember that both your teams lost to the Dolphins.

So do I get to come in here and whine and cry like the chargers fans since the refs took the game away from the Broncos with a bullshit call?

We got a PI call that was nowhere near PI. The ball was over and past the guys head before he was even touched. If he caught it he would have caught it and THEN been pummeled.
They would have had to punt, and we could have at least had a chance to tie it up instead of them getting to sit on the ball with their newfound downs.

Just broke on ESPN that Tony Romo will be out for the next month with an injury. Brad Johnson, who I didn't even realize was still in the NFL, will be starting. link
naw, he has big arm, he just doesn't understand where to throw the ball. he could make the deep throws if he wasn't so afraid of stepping into the ball and if he had any idea where his receivers will be. he's gotta get benched imo, give guittterezz a shotat least.Originally posted by: Gibson486
strong arm??? The guy has a weaker arm than Pennington. It's t bad he is not as accurate as Pennington.
But yes, Cassel lacks the starting QB approach. He would be great in dodge ball....but this is football.
true that. tho, i doubt the chargers o would've had the time to score 30, so maybe 42-17. brady wouldn't have so forgiving to the chargers d, who blew coverages all night.Originally posted by: Gibson486

Well...if Brady was there the score probably would have been 42-30, Pats.![]()

exactly. thats why all the pre-season speculation about "strenghth of schedule" has always been so much garbage.Originally posted by: Fingolfin269
This week proved something I've been arguing with a lot of people. Beat who is on your schedule and the opponent's W/L record doesn't really matter. I've had to defend the Titans record due to their opposition's record for the past few weeks. The Redskins, up until this week the 'hottest' team in the NFL, plays the worst team in the league and loses.
There is so much parity in the league that I don't care who your opponent is you better come to play each week and take care of business.
