If the Giants had lost last night, Coughlin may have been gone at the end of the year.

What is up with them anyways? They have been bad for no reason, they have a good team.

New coaches, and a new system. They will never be the same team without Plexico and Strahan. Currently, their biggest problem is discipline and ball control. If you can't get the fundamentals right, you have no chance making it into the playoffs.

Remember, ATOT Weekly NFL thread viewers, tune in next week for another edition of "Meanwhile, in San Francisco, Mike Singletary..." Since they're playing the Eagles with Kolb playing, they might actually win!

The 49ers are bound for a top 5 pick. I love it.

To recap the past editions:

1. First edition was: "Meanwhile, in San Francisco, Mike Singletary wished Mike Nolan would have picked Aaron Rogers over Alex Smith." (this was during a Packers game)
2. Last night's edition was "Meanwhile, in San Francisco, Mike Singletary wishes he would not have fired Mike Martz."

LOL @ the Snickers' commercial. That was really freaky.

Does that remind anyone else of this?

Definitely not the game I was expecting to see tonight.

I'm not a NE fan, but Miami is just one of those teams I HAVE to root against, regardless of who they're playing. Denver and Oakland are also in that category.

So Vick is out this week and McCoy broke a rib. I wonder if the Eagles can beat the 49ers with Kolb and Bell starting? I'm going with no. My guess is 3 straight losses and then Vick and McCoy return after the bye.

So to start the season everyone thought Kolb was fine. Then he got injured and now...? I thought he did pretty damn well yesterday considering the situation he walked into.

They will be fine assuming the offense as a whole can handle all of this Kolb --> Vick --> Kolb merry go round.
