Cutler was finally having a decent year and BAM, the Giants defense wakes up.

i really didn't see this great Giants defense last night. I saw some great pass rushing, and a fucking dumbass QB. A few horrible plays by the OL, but a mostly indecisive QB. (In fact, Eli looked almost as bad as Cutler. It was one of those games that you don't really feel great about winning, except for the fact that you get the win. The Giants looked pretty damn terrible, I must say.)

...and an offense that seemed, for whatever reason, to completely ignore the fact that they pay this guy named Forte to carry the ball from time to time.

I mean...seriously, ...in a game like that, WTF was there absolutely no attempt to hand off to your HB?

Any Jets/Buffalo fans hoping that neither team wins tonight? I'm personally hoping for a 0-0 tie.

Need at least 17 points from Brady with nothing going to Hernandez to win my fantasy game this week.

I turned off the Chicago/NY game last night because I was bored with it and Cutler just pissed everyone off in Chicago again - get their hopes up by going 3-0 and then shitting the bed. Hilarious.

The Saints just keep squeaking by....

Funny thing, the Lions have just barely lost a couple times now. So by that logic, the Lions are only slightly worse than the Saints... :awe:

This is totally bizarro NFL though. There are always unexpected things every year but wow. The Chiefs are the only undefeated team? The Cowboys, Vikings, Chiefs, Colts all having rough starts? There are usually a few teams that get hyped up early only to disappoint, but it seems a bit more pronounced this year. Maybe it's just me. And it is early in the season, any of those teams could pick things up.

LOL @ Cris Carter on Bob Sanders

Talking to Chris Berman:

"Hey Boom, I believe in the Easter Bunny, the Fairy Godmother. I don't believer in Bob Sanders. Those people come."

That is probably the wisest thing Cris Carter has ever said.

"It's only a flesh wound!"

Giants D can be good, but they aren't really 10 sacks good against any normal, thinking QB. ESPN did a slow-mo with Cutler on a bunch of the sacks. There were receivers that were wide open but he didn't see them. I think at least half of the sacks could have been prevented, if not more, if Cutler had better field vision.

He only got the concussion on the last sack (which also had a wide open guy by 5 yards on the left side). They even showed him looking to the left at the wide open guy and then not throwing it there 2 seconds before the guy sacked him.

Eagles will be fine later on, but Kolb looked terrible. Might take them a few games to adjust to his style versus Vick's. Problem is that in a few weeks Vick might be back and they'll have to adjust again.

Tonight's game's gonna suck...I hate it when I have to root for the Patriots...😛

Like Indy and Jacksonville, NE and Miami always seem to keep a close game for some reason.

I think the Dolphins are frauds though, but their QB seems pretty good.
