Being in Seattle, I sure as hell remember "The Run", one of the greatest ever, and in a playoff against the defending Superbowl champs no less!

If someone has not noticed by now, notice Lynch's crotch grab after reaching the end zone. He does this while in the air and facing the field. That stiff arm against Porter still brings a tear to my eye.

I had to drive somewhere at the start of the 4th quarter. Never in my life have been happier that I was unable to watch a football game. I still haven't seen that play.

Stafford needs to get it together if we're gonna win. I have faith in him, but he has to start putting the ball between the numbers more often.

Just don't throw to Pettigrew and his completion % skyrockets

I get that it kind of sucks since the broadcasters are retarded and it makes it painful to watch, but I don't complain too much since again, its another day to have a game and I pay for the package any way since I like NFL network in the offseason. Catch old superbowls. The top 10's are good. The "Football life" is good

Yeah, what NFL Network puts online for they coverage of the Thursday night games though... it's absolutely NOT what they put on TV. It makes me want to stab people. Repeatedly.

You know, he shows flashes, and apparently is a good blocker and makes big catches sometimes.

However, I was done with him after that braindead fumble in week 1, and the idiotic drops.. I mean, he's playing for a contract, and this is what he offers?

I can't remember that Big TE's name we have, but he seems to have good hands so far.

So far, though, it tends to be a shitty game, regardless of the quality teams on the field. You end up with tired and uninspired players going on a short week.

I cant' really argue that it's an extra day of football--might as well be watching some Thursday night high school football. It dilutes the product.

Was a time when there was one national game on Thursday night--ESPN college football. That was always a great game (their answer to NFL's Monday night football, which we know was still on ABC at the time)

I was wrong about the Chiefs last night. The eagles are not what I thought they were. That being said, the Eagles DEF really screwed the pooch on this one. Their secondary made Alex Smith look like Tom Brady. It was embarrassing.

I never looked at the Chiefs schedule this year. Holy crap, what a cupcake schedule. I still think they are over-rated and not nearly as good as their record indicates, but I don't think they will have an issue making the playoffs. What a weak schedule.

Chiefs def is what happened. I think Chip Kelly's offense will be fine, but right now he doesn't have all the personnel he needs for it, and he just ran into a more talented defense that was a good matchup against it. The Chiefs have more defensive playmakers than the Eagles have offensive ones, and their players match up well against Phily's offense.

well, going into the season, they are/were in a hsitorically bad division, so all of the schedules for these teams--Denver included--is cupcake.

however, it looks like these teams are again competitive: Denver at the top of course, San Diego, and now maybe the Cheifs. Oakland is the worst of the bunch, but I foresee them giving a few teams a fit here and there.

NFC East is looking bad again. :D

I'd say maybe on San Diego. If good Rivers is back, they'll be about the Chiefs level (where I think the Chiefs have the more talented team, but Rivers will be the much better QB), but if bad Rivers returns they might be Oakland bad.

I think the Chiefs are a product of good coaching, and Kelly probably thought he would come into the NFL and wow everyone with his offensive philosophy -- he will be humbled.

And he's quite fortunate that that game wasn't real close last night or that bone-headed 2pt conversion attempt, which was well covered, would have probably cost him the game.

Alex Smith is doing what he does best... he doesn't gamble with bad deep throws, and can run a bit. I never liked him in SanFran, but he's a pretty decent QB.

I'd agree to an extent. By that I mean, the Chiefs had such awful coaching the past few years (particularly last year) that they weren't as bad as their record indicated, so Reid and his staff is a big upgrade, but I also think that there's so much talent on the team that we're seeing that as much as good coaching.

I actually am not impressed with Andy's offense so far (and considering he's got like 5 offensive consultants including the guy that developed the read-option, Brad Childress, and I believe some other guy that's supposed to be good about spread offense, he has like 20 guys on the offensive staff alone), its almost pathetic. He needs to get Schwartz in at LG instead of Jeff Allen, and I think the line will look a lot better.

I don't know how much credit the DC should get either. The Chiefs have a lot of talent and we've known for a couple of years that an aggressive defensive plan would play to their strength much more than Romeo's read and react shit. This defense could very well end up top 5. I'm really interested to see how it fares against the Broncos. I actually now think it'll be a good matchup, but the Broncos might be too much. I just don't have faith that the secondary will hold up against that onslaught and the pass rush will be nullified too much due to Peyton's quick release and smarts.

ESPN trying to say that KC now poses a serious threat to Denver on taking the AFC west.

I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard.

Only if Peyton goes down, otherwise they don't stand a chance.

If Peyton goes down we might as well just call it a season. The same can be said for all the top teams

Although the best thing for Washington right now would be for Bob 3.0 to go down and let Cousins play

Yeah, that is insane. I am super skeptical of KC right now. I just don't think they are "good" at all. They have beaten weak and flawed teams so far. Their first game against JAX was like those college teams scheduling a bunch of cupcake matchups at the beginning of the year to get them up to speed.

Chargers can easily beat them, Raiders can easily beat them (only because the AFC west teams play each other hard), Denver will obliterate them.

The Browns even suck at tanking. I have Vikings defense this week too. Also Finley is out with a concussion against the Bengals, started him as well. :(

Yeah I expected a good win but not like this. STL has 1 first down, 18 total yards lulz.

edit: HAHA, first big play from STL ends in a turnover.

Jax may be the worst team in the AFC but I think the gmen are giving them a run. They could easily be the worst team in the NFC by letting Cam tear them up so bad. I knew the Broncos were playing a bad team last week but I didn't think they were this bad

Dallas the best team in the NFC east? LOL
