I don't understand, how does being in a division that is "historically bad" make their schedule easier? Their schedule is mostly determined by a rotation. They happen to be playing the NFC East this year, which is awful. They're also playing the AFC South which is not great. They get Cleveland and Buffalo because all three teams finished last in their division last year.
it makes their schedule easy (I suppose this is better understood from Denver's perspective) because you assume that 6 games are guaranteed wins.
Yes, that argument isn't as good from one of the expected shitty team's perspectives, because the shit teams should be equally bad--so those 6 games are toss-ups?
