**OFFICIAL NFL Week 2 Thread**

Let's kick things off for this week.

As much as a Bills fan as I am, I'm not convinced when all the analysts are saying they have a "Good chance to go up to 2-0 against the Raiders." I'm beginning to think the Raiders are probably one of the most underrated teams this season.

Other than that, looking forward to the Pats/Chargers game. If Henne could throw for 400+ against the Pats, imagine what Rivers will do. Should/could be a spectacular game.

Greenbay @ Carolina
Kansas City @ Detroit
Cleveland @ Indianapolis
Tampa Bay @ Minnesota
Chicago @ New Orleans
Jacksonville @ New York Jets

FML. this means I will have to watch Dallas stomp all over SF and I won't be able to watch the awesome SD vs NE game. 🙁

Come on over to my place. I <3 NFL Sunday ticket... I'll watch both games at the same time (along with the Cincy/Denver and Houston/Miami games too).

It looks like I will be hitting a bar. I'm actually going to cancel TV this year, which will mean no more Monday Night for me or recorded/delayed games... 🙁, though I wonder if the increased expense of watching games out will be worth it.

:hmm:

I don't feel confident with the Giants. They might be able to beat the Rams this year, who knows. Manning looks to be on the same 25 int track and 50% connect rate from last year, and our secondary has more holes than John Belushi on a party night.

We need a good LB and a better cover 2. We also need manning to wake up.

One thing is certain; nothing within the first 4-5 weeks of the NFL is a guarantee. Which is why I'm being cautiously optimistic of my Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers beating Carolina this weekend. This is a classic trap game for Green Bay. And traditionally we have slept on games like this. I almost want Green Bay to lose this week, because next week we (could) face a 2-0 Bears team on a Monday night in the place where we killed ANY dream of a Bears fan watching the Super Bowl with their team in it last year. I'd rather lose to someone outside of my division than in my division.

One thing's for sure in that game - we'll see exactly how good Cam Newton REALLY is.

True SunnyD. I see a lot of play action on Sunday for him. We seemed to bite on that last Thursday. And he's the kind of QB that gives Green Bay problems.

Philly vs. Atlanta, that should be a fun one.

I'm a Dallas guy but wouldn't be surprised to see the Cowboys mess up in SF somehow.

Let's go Vikes! I put the over/under on passing yards for McNabb at 45. D: Honestly we had such a chance to win that game last week, it was so depressing how things went down. I think we have a chance this week if the offense can click a little better. The Lions D is obviously stronger and I can't imagine only giving Blount the ball five times in the game again, but overall I don't think the Bucs look all that great and there is no way McNabb is that bad again. I mean it's just not possible, right? 😱

I have Sunday Ticket and Red Zone for the first time this year and it's pretty awesome. I liked being able to watch the Bills/Chiefs game, which I had money on, but then switch around to whatever I wanted and catch the Red Zone highlights from other things I missed. The only annoying thing is the sound is pretty inconsistent from the different game feeds, so some are loud and others are super quiet. Aside from that, I love it. Totally worth the $240.

In all seriousness, this will be a big game for the Colts. Cleveland got smacked hard by Cincy and I've heard more than a few say that Cleveland might be the worst team in the league as a result, so hopefully we can pull it off.

Chargers may not need to throw that much if they can get their ground game going and don't fall behind.

Can't wait to see Cam Newton vs GB. Yes - Us folks in the Carolinas are hungry for excitement after years of boring John Fox football.

Sorry, Denver - Sucks for you to hire Fox. 😛
