I called it before 1st week, Detroit's front seven will cause havoc all season, even more so for a hapless team like the Chiefs. If they can stay healthy and play smart ball the ARE the NFL sleeper team this season..

You, me, all my friends, coworkers and all the analysts I saw picked them as a sleeper. Stafford needs to stay healthy.

yeah, they don't look bad...bu consider their opponents so far:

Denver
Buffalo

It's like trying to predict quality based on pre-season.

Denver and Buffalo have pretty awful teams in general. Both went 4-12 last year in games that mattered or close to it. They are both going to stink it up this year as well.

lol. penalty for challenging a play that you can't challenge.

though, somewhat understandable, as you suddenly can't challenge a scoring play this year. wtf.

All scoring plays are reviewed now. No need to challenge them.

Also what game are you talking about

I think I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon before it leaves the station and get a Lions hat.

I'm a Bears fan and saw this coming from Detroit. You see, this is what happens when you stop drafting WRs with your first round draft pick every year. You may actually build a team !!!!!

not sure if you're paying attention' but buffalo is making a game of it.

Oakland still had the lead when I, and KT made that comment--I was also about 7 minutes behind in the game. 😉

I don't think Buffalo is that bad, but they aren't terribly good. Fistzpatrick looked good briefly last season, but then cooled off. He's heading towards Romo status, except that he doesn't yet toss games into the crapper for no reason.

Make that 6. Pressure from Suh, Cassel delivers it right to Wright.

This Titus Young character is going to be good.

I know there is no reason to challenge them, but someone didn't inform the Raiders.

Raiders challenged the most recent score, refs gave them a "unsportsmanlike conduct" penalty and docked them 15 yards on the kickoff.

Man the Seahawks are bad this year. I don't think anyone believed me when I said they would contend for Luck this year, that they are that bad.

Anyhoo, how upset would Harbaugh (49'ers variety) be if Andrew Luck were to end up in Seattle under Pete Carroll? That would be an interesting issue in the NFC West.

The Seahawks suck. Pick four teams that are awful enough for the Luck lottery:

Broncos (but won't take him)
Seahwaks
49ers (yes, they are that bad)
Chiefs (if they keep this up)

This is where I sit right now. I had Denver, SF and Seattle picked to be awful this year, and they should NOT disappoint. I'm throwing the Chiefs in there as of now.

The Colts are up there as well.

I actually think the Niners are much better than that. They were "supposed" to run the NFC West last year with no challenge, but collapsed under lack of leadership and a consistent offense.

Yes, Alex Smith is terrible, but if he is at least good enough to not Romo every game, SF has enough top calibre weapons, and a very good defense, to make some waves.

I'm thinking they will be as good as they were supposed to be last year.

We'll see, of course. Dallas (assuming Dez doesn't miss too much time), should be much better than last year--they already look it--so this will be an interesting game today.

by the way, I just coined a new verb: "to Romo."

TB just silenced the Metrodome, crazy second half.... without throwing the ball to their number 1 receiver... assholes.
