It also has to do with management's reluctance to give up on Kolb so quickly. This is a guy that they drafted to take over after McNabb. They groomed him up forever and promised him the starting job, so they don't want to give up on him immediately. I think they want to give him a game or two to prove that he's the starter instead of benching him because of injury.

Vick looks really good, but it was the Lions. If Kolb sucks badly, Vick'll still get the job in Week 5 or so. Vick also will forever have the negative PR aspect to the whole deal.

LOL! SF center hiked the ball 10 feet over the QBs head out the back of the endzone for a safety.

Well that was pretty much a clinic on what not to do on both sides of the ball. What happened to SF? They actually looked like a legitimate team the 2nd half of last year.

That was a terrible call by the refs, but I see no point in refusing to catch the ball. With all the Saints players there, it's not going to gain that many more yards before one of them stops it. And if it takes a forward bounce, then it's going to be tons of extra yardage.

Drew Brees>Kevin Kolb> Me>Rancid dog shit> Alex Smith

Not to rub salt in the wound, but let's not forget that Aaron Rodgers was originally projected to be the top pick of the draft and an injury (IIRC) dropped him to 22 or 23 in the first round. I bet the Niners wish they had a do over on that pick.

Of course, Leinhart would've been the first pick had he come out so if that happened, the Niners would've just had a different kind of suckiness.

Pretty much everyone and their mom wanted aaron rodgers instead of doucheass smith. Except for that Butt Licker Mike Nolan who knows nothing about offense and made the choice.

Ah yes, Mike Nolan. I forgot about Douchey von Douchenstein himself.
