It's a passing league. History has shown that running QBs have a very short shelf-life in the NFL. Capt Caveman is offline Add Infraction for Capt Caveman Report Post IP

Tebow already suffered a damn serious concussion in college. He's two more away from having a bowl of jello between his ears in the NFL. I'd be curious to see if he can even manage a single season with his style.

So, basically, at some point he will think he's you're avatar?

Man I'll be cheering my ass off for the Seahawks. Would love to see them crush the stupid 'aints.

Same here. I'd like to see Brees throw 3+ INTs and show what kind of a QB he really is. High risk, high reward. It's silly that he got the Pro Bowl nod over Rodgers with the number of picks he threw this year.

It would be awesome if they won the SB, lots of bricks would be shat :D

Interesting thing I heard recently - winning the SB is the only way for the Seahawks to end their season with a winning record. They would go 11-9 in that case (10-10 if they went to the SB and lost). It would be completely nuts, totally unprecedented. I remember how big of a deal it was for the 9-7 Cardinals to get there a couple years ago.

I'm cheering for that, since my team is long out of it. I'm also cheering against the stupid Jets in the AFC.

Lol, did you watch the game last sunday.

Which one? The Seahawks game? The 'aints do not look all that great man, they could easily lose in one of the few stadiums that actually gives its team a home-field advantage. I'll be rooting my ass for it and I just gave a staff member the Monday off so he can go to the game and cheer for the Seahawks.

What division was that, again?

Saints had several players benched for the game. And outside of the freak first play(s), seachickens best offensive move all night was to go three and out and punt as their punter was doing a good 15-20 yards better in that exchange.

Meh, they did not look all that great against the Falcons either, particularly Brees; was more their defense that looked ok. Anyway, it's not like I said it's GOING to happen, I will just be cheering with everything in being for it to happen.

Everyone has an off year. I would still rather Brees than almost all of the other starters. Even with the 22 (was it 22?) picks he had this year he still put up good stats.

I could just as easily come back and say everyone has an on year. Last year was exceptional for Brees. This year he's thrown more INTs than any other time in his career but otherwise it's closer to the norm for him.

He's still a really good quarterback, no disputing that. And I really don't expect the Saints to lose to the Seahawks. He's good, not God.

It would be hilarious if Green Bay and Seattle make it to the NFC championship, then Seattle will have hosted 2 playoff games going in with a 7-9 record, heh.
