mery christmas steelers... epic collapse by Ray Ray and the Crows...
#1 seed on a silver platter.
Yeah, Niners better lock him up before he becomes expensive.
And the Steelers pushed that silver platter away and said NO THANKS, we'll take the wild card.
well he's got 3 more years at least.
well he's got 3 more years at least.
78 yards net on that punt after the penalty...
He's going to reneg in the off-season.
that's possible, right?
either way, the Niners should, and keep him happy.
er well...Hainnsworth...er, fuck...no.
keep him cheap and get 3 great years out of him.

Power outages? Hell, the 49ers will do anything to win a game.
I said all along that this would be a very difficult game for the Steelers. I'm disappointed in the outcome, but not surprised. They're not at full strength with some of their O-line out on IR, Harrison out for the game, Bennie R on a gimp leg...and a gimp arm. (after tonight, 21 TDs, 14 INT's for the season)
I was expecting a better showing from the Steelers...but didn't get it.
You are hilarious. We all know Ben lost that game because he was not 100%. In hindsight they should have never played him but I understand why they did it. They felt that he was their best chance to win. And I will say that kicker for 49ers won that game for them every one of his punts were deep.
"You conveniently ignore the fact that the 49ers best WR was out as well as the best LB in football."
Yup James Harrison was sitting at home.
Ahem, what do you guys who were making the ludicrous claim of the AFC being "strong" have to say now?

The NFC's top seed just lost to Kansas City. AFC may be murky, but so is the NFC.
I think the game would have been different if played in Pitt. Playing at home v. cross country flight, has been important for some of the best teams this year. Both the Ravens and Niners struggled with it too.Ahem, what do you guys who were making the ludicrous claim of the AFC being "strong" have to say now?
Any team can beat another team on any given Sunday. However, the NFC is the stronger conference at least at the top. I'd put the Packers and Saints ahead of everyone else and the Niners up there as well.
Someone here said yesterday that the AFC was stronger and that the Pats, Steelers, Ravens, and Texans were all better than the Packers. That is obviously not correct. The Pats would get steamrolled by either the Packers or Saints, the Ravens choke in big games, and the Texans are as good as one and done in the playoffs. That leaves the Steelers and while they may put up a fight, the fact that they barely escaped the Colts doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.
