Boom and the win. Which is exactly not what the Cowboys need. Props to everyone for making an interesting game though. C'mon Manning, get it together brother!

The problem is that no one will call Manning to the carpet for his performance the last few weeks. He needs to be called out.

It's not Manning's fault. Their play-calling sucks. Even though they cannot run the ball, they cannot abandon the run completely. Even when it is completely ineffective, it at least gives the defense something to think about. Throwing the ball 50 times a game is a recipe for disaster whether you are Manning, Brady, Brees, Montana, or whoever.

Even if they racked up nothing on the ground, a more balanced attack would be more successful than throwing the ball on every down.

I thought Manning called all the plays?

For any Dallas fans thinking this was amazing, the amazing part was that OT was even necessary with all of those INTs that were gifted by Manning, who was playing like a blind rookie.

It isn't totally Manning's fault, but I can't give him a pass on his performance. One game? OK, crap happens. 3 games in a row? Sorry, Manning needs to take a huge portion of the blame.

correct me if i am wrong but doesn't peyton call the plays, so how is it not his fault?

Someone probably knows better than me, but I believe that Manning is given a few plays to choose from before each snap.

Regardless of whether he is calling the plays or not, the play calling sucks. Manning might think that because the run game sucks he must shoulder the load, but they cannot abandon the run. The more pass-heavy they have become this season, the worse Manning has performed.

Fair enough. I don't know exactly how much influence he has over the play calling (clearly more than other QBs), but my point was more that he isn't throwing the ball much worse than usual, he's simply throwing too much and if the Colts' coaches had any sense, they'd go back to trying to run the ball. At least every once in a while.

Oooooo -- do I want the Pats win so I can make fun of Jets fans tomorrow, or do I want the Jets to win so I can make fun of Pats fans? Hmmm, tough call.

make fun of pats fans!!!

although my confidence took a bit of a hit with leonard now out.

Manning is given "concepts" on every down but is the one that calls the plays. The playcalling is only a small part of the problem; he is forcing balls into places where he never should be throwing them.

Seriously, take away his pick 6s and the Colts are 8-4 or 9-3 even as poorly as their D played earlier in the year.

LOL delusional.

I don't think he's serious. There isn't even a statistical way for the Cowboys to get a wild-card spot I don't believe, even with all wins the rest of the season. They barely won against a terribad Colts team today (injuries + Peyton smoking crack while drunk, apparently). They're gonna lose against the Eagles at least once of their two matchups, although they might beat up on the Deadskins and Cardinals. Ideally they'd lose them all, but they seem to be trying harder of late.

As V.P. Western US, APAC and Emerging Markets of NE Patriots Bandwagoneer, I'd like to thank you fans and the NFL in advance for yet another Lombardi trophy this season.

Peyton still has a pretty good Int/Att. rating really.
He just seems to toss them at the worst possible times.
That and Peyton is just not known for being "average"...or looking average for that matter.

Stinks. I want nothing more than to see the Cowboys lose.

Oh hell INT by Freeman now.

Don't ya love it when two teams you're not crazy about play head to head? One of them HAS to lose, lol.
