Definitely heard an irate player saying "that's fucking..."

Also, WTF is Edelman doing right now? Linebacker?

With all the injuries, he's been on about 7 plays now in the dime package as a DB. He's played in 3-4 games already on defense this season.

Whoohooo, Fins is 3-0 for the last 3 weeks.

Watch out, Cowgirls, da Fins is coming to town this Thursday.

How is everyone watching the Raven-49er Harbowl ? Sports bar ,Streaming from somewhere ? Does NFL-network stream it live ?

Its on the NFL Network (and local channels for me) so I'll be watching it from home. I've persuaded the family to start dinner at 4.. 😀

Why would you do an onside kick in the 1st quarter?

I read an article the other day saying that while obvious onside kicks made out of desperation generally aren't recovered, surprise onside kicks are actually recovered 60 something percent? of the time. I guess some people think they are a really underused strategy.

Only the fins could be so stupid as to lose the Luck sweepstakes 😛

I think that even if they tied the Colts, the Colts probably still had them based on strength of schedule (AFC South is weaker than AFC East). So they probably figured they might as well win a few.

The 2011 Colts are looking to be one of the worst teams to ever take the field. Their defense has given up more points than any other team and only one other team has scored fewer points than them. Even the 0-16 Lions were a better team.

Wow. So Denver wouldn't take any offers for Orton earlier now they waive him? LOL.

KC desperately needs some help at QB. I don't see Chicago biting...not with the original hoopla surrounding Cutler and Orton. Plus Henie isn't a terrible QB based on what he did in the NFC title game last year.

Broncos waived Kyle Orton.

Wonder which teams will put in a request for him. Chicago would probably love to get him but they are pretty far down the list. I wonder if my Chief's will try, and looking at the standings their's only a few teams in front of the Chief's that need a quarterback. Also chiefs only two games out from divison lead.
Excluding Indy. Miami, and Washington are the only teams below the chiefs I could see going after him.

edit: beat to it twice, i'm a slow typer. and here is the order of teams that gets first dibs. http://espn.go.com/nfl/standings/_/group/1

By most accounts Miami was really interested in him at the beginning of the season. But they are on a roll with Moore right now. I don't see them wanting to rock the boat there. Re: Redskins....I have no idea what Shenanginhan or that team owner will do. I don't think they even know what they will do on a day to day basis.

I would not be surprised if the Chiefs make a swing for him. Their only problem is the QB controversy should he actually win some games for them. Cassel has a massive contract for very little production. It wouldn't take much at all to improve on his numbers.

KC would put in a claim him, I think. Cassel on IR. Palko sucked against one of the worst pass D in the NFL. KC is still in the playoff picture in the very weak AFC West.

Moore has been coming on strong in the last few weeks so I think they keep him.

I agree that Chicago would love to get him but no way he drops that far.

Denver was just dumb in their whole management of resources. Reminds me of the Bobcats sort of. Great player, not so great management.

The Colts could try for Orton, but why risk potentially winning a few games?

The Colts are too smart for that. A 2 game lead is nice but there might be a fluky win and then it gets a little close for comfort. There's no upside to signing Orton. It's just money down the drain but it looks good for them to run the table right now with Painter.
