Did anyone really think the Jets were going to be allowed to lose this game tonight? NBA fixed games and got caught, the NFL does the same shit to drive ratings and bank their billions.

So they told Romo to throw an interception and then let the jets block a kick?

This and the Skins/Giants game were huge surprises. While the Jets barely won, I think they'll keep it up. I doubt the Redskins can. I'm sure management will find some reason to sideline Grossman.

Romo is such an idiot. While yes, the drive that got the ball down the field thanks to Whitten was screwed up by bad calls, in the end, it was Romo's two interceptions that really screwed things over, like usual. I don't get why he is still the starter, or even on the Cowboys at this point.

i'm still loving the mystery snap where it seems no one but the center initially moves cause not another player on the field was expecting it.

He makes a few questionable decisions, but it wasn't all his fault. Witten should have gotten in, but he's kind of slow. They blew the punt blocking and they got pretty unlucky with all the injuries. They had tons of dumb penalties. Not sure what the coaches were thinking with Bryant since he had no speed towards the end. Although he does get in trouble for "trying too hard." He needs to learn when to shut it down if nothing's there, just like last year on that fumble just before halftime against, I think, the Redskins.

Overall, typical Cowboys play.

Biggest awesome moment for me this week was the SD 40 yard FG. I'm a fan of weird plays.

Cowboys o-line has no experience outside of Free and Kosier. I'm surprised they did as well as they did. I still don't understand the Romo hate - who would you rather have that's available in the league? Smith? McNabb? Taverns? Collins? I mean seriously, people bitch about the wrong position sometimes - yes, he shouldn't have passed it to Bryant, but the coaches left him on the field. How about running it when you know the D is blitzing? That's the coaching.

David Garrard is looking for a job.

The hate comes from people's expectations and lack of touch with reality. Romo isn't an "elite" guy, but he is an above average quarterback. He isn't Peyton Manning. He has the ability to go out and win you some games but he isn't going to make your 4 win team a 12 win team like Manning. The issue with this is that he is routinely hyped up by ESPN and some Cowboy's supporters as somebody who is going to make "that leap" to super-elite signal caller. Also, I don't think the Cowboys's offense is built or run in a way that minimizes his shortcomings -- which is definitely on Jerruh and the coaching staff.

This is my favorite type of pissed off fan post. Who do you replace him with?

Almost 7-9? You could say almost 3-13 too.

The Bills offensive line might have gotten worse and they lost Evans. Defense should be better though, assuming their first round pick, Barnett, and Merriman play well. Kyle Williams is a monster and horribly underrated.

I don't see any teams on their schedule that I'd consider them better than. Possibly Cincinnati and Miami although they're similar (poor offenses with ok defenses), and Denver and Washington. I do think they'll win a couple of games where they're underrated, but I don't see any game that should be a clear win for them.

The Chiefs have gotten better as well, at least as much as the Bills have, and Arrowhead should be tougher this year (the Arrowhead the Bills saw was not the usual Arrowhead, ticket sales are way up this year).

Its because the Bills have been a mediocre team for a long time and their owner has not done much to improve them. Jacksonville has been a much better team, and those two Monday games are against the Chargers and Baltimore.

I was going to post Saturday night (but the forums were down for “maintenance”) about how we were improved and had a better team than you would expect. I also wanted to remind you that the last time the Bills and Chiefs played, the Chiefs only won because of a well-timed icing timeout in OT. By responding the way you did, you proved what I was complaining about – that the bills don’t get ANY respect regardless of what the front office does.

I hope you enjoyed your thwumping.

And BTW, the Jags and Bills have had VERY similar records over the last few years. The Bills are 31-49 and Jacksonville has gone 39-41 over the last five years. Playing against “big” teams isn’t a good excuse either – it’s not like we don’t have NE and NYJ on our schedule twice, along with Dallas, NYG, Washington, Philadelphia, and San Diego. You don’t think going to Dallas, where last time the two teams played it was decided in the last minute of the game on MNF (2007) and where the Bills’s current head coach was fired and from ten years ago could be good tv?

i'm no Jets fan but I hate the cowboys (un-capitalized on purpose) with the white hot passion of a thousand suns...

So that was a fun game to watch. :D
