4 1st downs for the Eagles? ouch.
Total? Yeah, you're not gonna have a chance with stats like that.

so if guy dive across the GL and drops the ball on contact with the ground is that not a TD?
Probably trying to get more west coast viewership.
As a huge Tigers fan and mild Lions fan, I also think this was worse. The perfect game was simple human error, and it also didn't cost the Tigers a game...although it certainly sucked, a lot. A one game swing in the NFL is HUGE, and the refs made the wrong call (keep trying to convince me that it wasn't - he was making a football move after the catch) even with the benefit of replay. Pathetic.no...no it's not even close

The rule is undoubtedly terrible. But he landed, spun and turned to get up. That wasn't part of the catch.Dude, read the rulebook. They called it correctly based on the rules. I wouldn't be shocked if the rule gets changed in the off season.

And also completely meaningless. The game will still be remembered by baseball fans, maybe more than Halladay's or Braden's.20 times....EVER
perfect games are few and far between
We all saw the way Jim Joyce responded after his part in depriving Armando Galarraga’s perfect game – a heartbreaking and yet redemptive moment that became so much more important than a line in the record books. When we look back on this 2010 season that will be the moment that rings in our collective conscience.
