No he didn't. His ass hit the ground and he thought the play was over as I did. He was just getting up.

It was 110% bullshit.

That was a terrible call.. if you say he didn't complete that catch then what do you say about diving over the line and letting the ball go before you stand. From what they were saying the 'process' isn't over when the ball is down... messed up.

OK I watched most of the Bears game and am watching the Packers game and so far NO FUCKING FOX SPORTS ROBOT!

Please let it be true that they got rid of that thing!

Also, hope the Pack wins, but I do like the Eagles new unis and colors. Throwback to the Eagles I grew up with!

I didn't like the too dark green unis of the McNabb era.

i did not realize people hated the robot

So far on Eagles offense:
- Run blocking looks better than last year
- Kolb looks bad

You're not going to beat Jennings + Rodgers. First game jitters. Wait until 2nd half and the packs will likely blow them out.

It has to do when you CATCH a ball. If you go to the ground you have to maintain possession throughout, otherwise it isn't a complete catch, it's incomplete as ruled here correctly.

It's the exact same as if a receiver catches a ball and goes to the ground anywhere else on the field or even out of bounds. It's not a catch if they don't maintain possession.

Oh, I expect the Eagles to lose. They've got too many young guys who are "works in progress" to be good this year. Maybe in 2 or 3 years, if Kolb can become a top 10 QB.

I agree. BUT this rule needs to be looked at when in the inzone. If you are running all you have to do is break the plane.

He caught the ball and landed. while it was techinically not a catch in the spirit of the game it should have counted. the bears are lucky to walk away with a win.

Seriously. You know it's wrong when every single Bears fan disagrees with it.

Use some common sense in your fucking rules/calls.

What sucks is it totally looks like he just let go of it because he thought the play was over and the catch complete. Other receivers wouldn't have put one hand out like that to brace their fall. They'd hold onto the ball with both hands and just hit the ground. Two feet in, maintain possession even if hitting the ground = catch. Anything else = not a catch.

Yeap. Eagles had 1-2 bad games last year, and the other losses were just out of luck or because the other teams simply played their hearts out.

Eagles just need to find a way to beat Dallas. Seems like they cannot stop their rush.

Best offense in the league? 3 sacks already...

Many O-lines are missing assignments this week. Come to think of it, I think GB had the same problem through half the season last year, but then they became a brick wall later in the season.

Ohhh damn. That injury looks bad.

He caught the ball two feet down, pushed by defender, lands on his hip, left hand touches out of bounds/on the ground. Then the ball hit the ground. Anyone who watches football know that was a catch. Wasn't like he lost control. He had possesion. Just a bullshit call
