Exactly. He seems like a dick, but gets a total pass from everyone for some reason.

KT

So 4 things over his entire career and he's a dick? No matter if what he said was the truth huh? Wow.

Fact is, Manning is one of the few superstars that doesn't get into off field trouble or other drama. Calling him obnoxious and not Cam is silly. I don't mind Cam's behavior, but he's far more obnoxious. Oh well, to each their own opinion. I'm not going to go back and forth about it.

I'd post every d-bag thing Newton has said or done, but I'm not sure the forum servers have enough storage space.

I'm not talking up Cam, I know next to nothing about him. I'll take your word on his 'd-bag' ness. Quite frankly if you want to root for the "super nice, humble, good humanitarian guy who plays in the NFL" then Russell Wilson already seems to have that job on lockdown.

Not just 4 things, those are just the ones posted been watching him his entire NFL career and it's all of the on the field stuff. He annoys the crap out of me, not sure what else to say. Nothing Cam does on the field seems as dickish to me, plus he is just so much more fun to watch.

Anywho, I'm just a sad Vikings fan, so I'm probably just envious of all of them. 😀

Panthers 52-3!

It will be another lopsided Super-bore....maybe the commercials will be funny.

Patriots will be at home just laughing about the butt kicking that Denver takes.

I don't like Manning. Never have, never will. Can't stand his sour whiny bitchy tantrum blame game face every time the slightest thing goes wrong, and I've never noticed him to carry himself on the sideline like an impassioned leader in the way that Brady does.

I want this one for Elway.

Cam's maybe no Russell Wilson when it comes to charity, but I take his antics for childish honesty--and from what I gather he seems like a pretty chill, nice dude. He also seems to be rather involved with the troubled and poor kids in Charlotte(not just with money--but personal time), so I'd imagine that he's actually a rather decent dude.

But guys like Wilson are effing arrogant, too--and I think you need to be to perform at that level in that league--but maybe Wilson comes off as more subtle, or a bit more humility in the mix than guys like Cam.

And, to be fair, the smart guys in this league, knowing the average career length, should be doing some blatant self-promotion in their prime years. It helps keep you relevant and paid within the league and industry after you retire.

I want Manning to get one last one before he retires but I like Cam and he won my fantasy for me so he deserves to get one for himself too.

I dont know if there is anything subtle about Wilson...he believes God is personally interested in his success.

He'll have to produce a lot more offense than he has so far; 20 or less in 7 of 16 regular season games. Whereas the Panthers since Thanksgiving have been averaging over 36PPG. The Bronocs haven't scored that much in ANY of their games this year including preseason and their season high is 31 in week 2 against KC and only 30 once (against NE).

Let's be honest, as much as I love Peyton, this could very well be his last Superbowl, and if Panthers/Cam had any mercy, they'll keep Broncos down by maybe 2 TDs. Because quite frankly, we see what Panthers D did to Seahawks and Cardinals in the first half alone, and that's not even mentioning about their offense. Broncos O+D are nowhere near Panthers caliber as we've witnessed in this playoff, so if Panthers have any ounce of humility and respect, they'll go easy on Manning's last superbowl.

Carolina had one of the most slouch schedules of the year also, even at the beginning of the year it was only a .434 and we found out how big of bums the Falcons, Ain't, Cowpokes and Eagles all became making it even worse.

I think Carolina is going to be a tough team to beat, but outside of the Seahawks and an imploding Cardinals game I don't know how to gauge them.

Seattle, Greenbay and Arizona are the only teams they played that were actually good teams, while Washington had a winning record it again was based off beating bums, after those 4 teams it was just complete bums, I've never seen such a lopsided year in the NFL

The Broncos faced every AFC playoff team but the one bum team (Houston) who didn't even belong there.

You mean you can't gauge a team that's been slaughtering opponents in the regular season and continued to steamrolled 2 powerhouses in the playoff?

I guess it's hard to see with those homer glasses on. :whiste:

You could also say slaughtering bums and not having to dig deep in the playbook till they needed to, then not scoring at all in the second half against Seattle and helping Arizona implode.

Now.. be a man for the first time in your life and realize I stated that "Carolina is going to be a tough team to beat", meaning I'm not saying they are not good. :whiste:

Dont forget they were down to Seattle in Seattle in the 4th quarter and won. Granted, Seattle gave up a lot of 4th quarter leads this year, but only one of those teams didnt make the playoffs.

Pats just fired their OLine coach.
Patriots fired OL coach Dave DeGuglielmo.
DeGuglielmo takes the fall after the Patriots' offensive line allowed Tom Brady to get hit a record-setting 20 times in the AFC Championship game against the Broncos on Sunday. "Guges" is a well-respected coach who had been with the Patriots for three seasons. He's been coaching offensive lines since 1991. DeGuglielmo was dealt a tough job with the Patriots losing LT Nate Solder early in the season and not having a steady starting lineup from week to week.

What they're not telling you is that Solder is only a good run blocker and not pass protector. I.e. it wouldn't have mattered a lick if he was playing against Denver or not - they were at full strength for pass protection from that group. And we knew the Pats were going to be mismatched by the Broncos from a talent-level perspective but it shouldn't have been that bad. Those guys were not prepared for that game and should've watched more game tape. The QB shouldn't be getting hit for a record amount of times. That is an absolute embarrassment, especially from a franchise as good as the Pats.
