Chiefs got punked. Shit gameplan and just played like crap too. Let the Colts punch them in the mouths, and then basically shit their pants (which I don't get, the Jags have tried that same game plan two years in a row and the Chiefs dominated them both times). Well that and Mahomes can't do everything. Although he was actually part of the problem, as I think he's gotten too reliant on scrambling to make plays and needs to be able to pocket pass and just get things going. I feel like they should've been chewing the Colts' aggressive pass rush with screens and quick slants and stuff.
Several drops (one was a TD that I think turned into just a FG, or maybe it was even one where they ended up punting). Way too many penalties. Defense definitely isn't a CB away from being decent (like some seemed to think or hope after the first couple of games).
Young receivers made some bad plays. I think it was Pringle that caught the long 3rd down, and to me looked like he easily should've gotten the first down but then he tried to make a bigger play and ran horizontal and got caught short. Which setup the terrible 4th down run.
Defense is shit, worse than last years and it seems to be getting worse (even before injuries just wrecked what should've been the strongest group - the dline). Frank Clark looks like he's either hiding a serious injury or he just plain sucks (I've seen speculation about wrist injury, he has an elbow brace on as well; other speculation that his past was because he was on PEDs as he dealt with injuries). Nice to see Justin Houston being fired up for a change (he rarely was the last few years in KC, which is why the Chiefs let him go as while he was still decent he wasn't worth $20mil/year; which I personally didn't Frank Clark was either at his production which wasn't outlandishly better than Houston's I thought). Which I though the Frank Clark deal was bad but wanted to give the guy a chance and see if maybe he would be a wrecking ball. I personally would've preferred them restructuring Houston's contract. Even with the switch to 4-3 I think Houston would be able to play DE (he practically already was, well other than the year when Sutton had him dropping back into coverage all the time, including having him try to cover Antonio Brown...) as well. Plus they really could've used the draft picks. I'm fine with them letting Ford leave, he's injured far too much (same reason I'll be fine when they let Watkins leave although I like him as a player he's just not on the field enough to warrant the contract, and we see that Mahomes can make nobodies into serviceable receivers).
Chiefs have played flat and out of it a couple games in a row now (played like that against the Lions too I think; I chocked it down to first game in a dome on turf for Mahomes throwing his timing off but saw similar problems in the Colts game), and I haven't been super impressed with them in any game so far this year.
He probably moved onto the Slurs since he was actually an Alex Smith fan. Plus he'd probably focus on the 49ers.
Besides, do you really think its worth bragging based on that game? That was an ugly game for both teams.

Where oh where is my friend SSSSnail when I need to discuss the Colts beating KC?
