While the Packers' loss to the Eagles was a disappointment, I must say that beating Dallas more than makes up for it. The Broncos and Cowboys humbled is a great start to the season.

That was a helluva game tonight. Cowboys didn't go down without a little bit of a fight though...

Jay Gruden fired.

Hopefully Bruce Allen is next but that probably will never happen.

Doesn't matter, the 'Skins will continue to suck and they'll squander their top 3 draft pick. The only two 1st round picks they've gotten right this century are Trent Williams (who currently refuses to play for the team due to their coaches and medical staff sucking so badly) and Sean Taylor who literally died to not have to play for the Redskins anymore.

Where oh where is my friend SSSSnail when I need to discuss the Colts beating KC?
I'll talk about it, great, great example of old-school smash mouth football, those two 2nd year O-linemen the Colts have were simply road-grading KC defenders like rag dolls. The defense, with both starting safeties out was stellar, constant pressure all game long and Houston played like a man possessed, that 4th and 2 run stuff was epic, even more so when he turned to the KC bench to rub it in. Everyone dismissed the Colts chances when Luck retired, not so fast folks, Brisset was very solid and their physical style was in full display with Mack having a hell of a game.

Yeah, Indy looked great last night. They controlled the pace the entire game. But you also realize that as much as you can successfully contain Majomes, you just can't stop the dude. He's still going to make those ridiculous cross-body throws on the run and in the air for 40 yards and there is literally nothing anyone can do to stop that nonsense.

You just have to keep the ball out of his hands. It's the only way.

Patrick Mahomes is a freak of nature and the best QB in football today. The Colts played him masterfully, especially considering 3 of their top defenders were out and they had a few injuries during the game.

Colts did so well today I think they deserve the honor of being the Patriots' victim in the Divisional Round of the playoffs to tune up TB12 for the AFC Championship game after their 1st round bye.

Oh come on. He had 7 minutes in the Q4 and his gimp-ankle got him nowhere. Somebody get his a Segway.

But even with a gimp ankle he almost converted a 3rd and 25, what's puzzling is that KC's inability to stop the run is what cost them a trip to the SB last year, and despite a new defensive coordinator and new people the result is no different.

any bullet points you can offer? I don't like listening to crazies. :D
Sure.

1. It's the fans fault that the stadium was overrun by Pats fans and that the fans made some good money off of it.
2. The culture at Redskins Park is extremely good.
3. Bruce doesn't have any responsibility that his record is 39% the past 10 years and the 0-5 record is everyone's fault.
4. He refused to apologize to the fans for the past decade of incompetence and that is when he deflected the stadium being overrun to the fans fault.

49ers, FTW.

Not surprising ... they're pretty good especially the D.

However I could swear one of the clowns calling the game earlier said they were the best team in the NFC? Lets not get ahead of ourselves team still needs a bit of rounding out lol... for example on special teams!

Yeah if you're willing to look only at their regular season results to date and ignore the stuff that might matter in the post-season (like not having any WRs worth mentioning). Also worth noting their year end slate is pretty daunting (v. SEA, then v. ARI easy win, then v. GB, @BAL, @NO, v. ATL, v. LAR, @SEA). That's potentially 6 straight losses to close out the year.

Rams will be a good test but for some reason they're not playing all that well right now. Seattle and GB will be tough for sure though.

Rams can still put up points at will, seemingly unconcerned if they are stopped for 3 straight quarters. Their defense, especially secondary, is having problems right now. Also, I never knew this, but it was put up in one of the last 2 weeks Rams prime-time games, that Goff is something like 2-15 on the road as a starter? Or something even worse, with a QBR ~65? lol

I'm starting to agree with the light murmuring that he really is a bit overrated.

I actually agree with you ... as I said 48'er's are not a complete team yet.

And I'm really loking forward to the Seattle game myself.
