lol--I gotta say: these are some horseshit no-calls going against Detroit.

Right? I mean Wtf free play called dead, miss an obvious block in the back, no PI call when Jones is tackled... I mean Detroit is more than capable of losing it themselves (see: elevinty billion dropped passes) but a piss poor showing from a playoff crew

Gotta feel for Raider nation. Really sucks how this season played out.

Was obvious that Seattle was going to own Detroit since you know, the Lions.

Steelers will roll over the Fins tomorrow.

Then the Packers will stomp the Giants since they can't score more than 20 points.

the refs sucked but the Lions would have lost anyway - couldn't stop the run, and couldn't catch a ball.

Yup, that defense was horrible to watch, usually it was their pass defense, this as the first time they'd been so bad vs the run in a long time, couldn't believe what i was watching, Seattle's supposedly horrible o-line just dominated the Lions defense.

I think the PI on Jones and the facemask on the TD--obviously--were the worst. Honestly, the PI was close, but to call it "uncatchable"...wtf? There was no way that ball was uncatchable. They are basically saying, yeah, that was pass interference but he wouldn't have caught it anyway. lol, what horseshit.

on the play, the TD looked like defensive PI, so I posted that regarding an awesome catch which would make the resident seattle haters foam at the mouth...then they showed the reply a few seconds later and you see the blatant facemask, lol. If anything, it should have been offsetting, but I also kinda think the defender had good position through the play and probably wouldn't have fell into Richardson had his head not been dragged into him. Pretty nuts.

In the end, Detroit was losing that game anyway because they couldn't run and they couldn't stop the run, and because every receiver refused to catch many very nice balls from Stafford. Regardless, the officiating isn't going to change the perception in the peanut gallery here that Seattle only won because of the refs. 😀

Vernon Davis shoots the football like a basketball after a TD and gets a 15 yard penalty for using the ball as a prop.

Antonio Brown shoots the football like a basketball after a TD and no flag is thrown.

Nope, the NFL doesn't have it out for the Redskins.

Shittsburgh got lucky, Miami absolutely killed themselves. Could have been much closer.
Did you even watch the game? How did Miami kill themselves on the first 2 drives the Steelers where Brown scored TD's?

The Steelers were raping them from the start, the Dolphins were never even in the game so really allow them to "kill themselves". I realize they had a ton of turnovers, but it's not like they were about to take the lead on those drives.

^Agreed. Fins got outplayed on every level. Those turnovers were caused by the Steelers getting in the Fins face with sacks and stripped balls. No luck involved.

Bingo.

Poopi just doesn't like the Steelers 😛

Um, hasn't that been the rule forever? I always laugh at people who say the refs favor the Seahawks. How many seasons in a row have they been the most penalized team in the league? "Oh, but they should be penalized even more!" (say teams they beat) "therefore the refs love them". Lol, ok.

Add in that the teams they play have been proven to be penalized far less than average. I guess they clean up their act just for the Hawks. Except when they're pushing off on Seattle DB's or running illegal pick plays on their safeties and LB's. But those are okay.

I kinda blame the networks for this perception (in particular Collinsworth). They find one missed call and hammer on it for hours or days. But missed calls for other teams? Not a word. Take the play where Wilson blocked for Rawls, right before Rawls got hit with a helmet to helmet and had to sit out for a while. Collingsworth: "that probably could have been a block in the back on Wilson". And about the lack of a flag on the helmet to helmet? Crickets.

Not sure how they weren't in the game when it was about to be a single score lead with the dolphins to get the ball to start the second half when the dolphins decided instead to go into turnover/muff mode.

Yea, I would have liked to see the Lions pull off the upset but the dropped passes were a killer AND that was one of the worst called games in memory. How do you "miss" the facemask when that's where the damm ball is!.

Because once it became a 2 score lead it never got to anything less than a 2 score lead? That means they were never in the game. And it's not like they handed the ball to the Steelers, the Steelers made plays.

I figured this Packers/Giants game would be the only one worth watching and it looks like I was right to a point. Randall Cobb wants to make it boring. 😛

Just as I predicted yesterday night.

Incredible. The first quarter GB looked like trash and NYG defense was swarming all over them. Now it is looking like a walk in the park. Amazing turn around.
