Tonight will be a great indicator on whether the Cowboys are legit or not. Botched calls and some coaching confusion made it difficult to tell from the first few games. Legit refs + a solid Bears team will be a good test 🙂

And the verdict is.........

Don't answer that. :whiste:

The Cowboys laid a huge stinking egg. Romo with 5 picks, JEEZ! You cant blame all this on Romo, it looked like the team was way outta sync as a whole, but 5 picks is no joke.

Lol, Romo & The Cowboys. Always good for a laugh. I would have thought Cutler and Romo would combine for 6 or more INTs but I would have barely been wrong, with Romo throwing all 5. Time for Romo and the Cowboys to move on from one another.

Same thing with The Jets and Sanchez, they have to replace him, and not with Tebow. I don't know why people seem to think those are the only two options, they need to trade for a QB. Take a chance on Matt Flynn maybe? :x

Yeah the team just seemed off but Romo is not getting the job done. Its still early in the season though and the Cowboys are still 2-2, got a long way to go. A Cowboys loss is still fun for me, never could stand the team.

The Cowboys have a really tough schedule though. But I suppose they don't really have a QB to turn to. I guess they might as well stick with Romo for this season. Cowboys are .500 like they have been for the last 15 years 😛 - I was saying last year Cowboys and Romo needed to part ways, and probably the year before that also. But Cowboys losing is always fun for me to watch, too 🙂

Oh look, Svnla and his trolling ways. What a shock.

I'm not entirely convinced the issue is Romo - I think Garrett and his play calling as well as Jerry's meddling ways poison the team more than Romo. A few of the picks were bad route's by the WR's, the stupid flick (TAKE THE FUCKING SACK DUDE) that was actually a fumble, and then the tipped ball.

Blame it on whatever you want...Tony Romo's poor passing/bad decision making, receivers fucking up their routes, Jerry Jones micro-management of the team (which reminds me a lot of Al Davis' interference with the Raiders)...doesn't matter. The Cowboys simply can't get their shit together.

The Bears forced them to make mistakes and capitalized on them.

Dude, don't even try to start shit again since you were a sore loser last time. You can't debate like a normal human being. Mod(s), kindly make note that my original post was not address to him or any posters in here, just like last time. If he wants to start shit, then I am going to give it to him.

Here it is again. Ladies and Gentlemen, the Dallas INTS/LOSERS/Fill In The Blank.

Don't like it? Tough. Bend over and take it, just like Romo The ZERO and the Dallas INTS 😀

(my apology to true Dallas fans, I have nothing against you guys, just can't stand tough guy wannabes like dougp)

On my way home from the game....upper level on the bears side line was like 80% bears fans...chants for DEFENSE were louder when the cow girls offense was on the field.

Hahaha, well we know now 🙂

I've been saying since 2008 (probably on here if one could search back far enough) that Romo is a joke as far as a QB, and tonight was just the perfect example.

I'd rather have someone with lower averages, but higher reliability and lower turnovers. Freaking Aikman was Iceman, unshakable. Romo quivers at anything. Ugh.

8-8 is generous for the Cowboys as they sit, 7-9 or 6-10 is possible with as much as they suck with Romo at the helm. Mediocre/poor coaching is no help either.

Trade for Matt Flynn and dump Romo. Romo is just inconsistent.

haters? i love Romo!

Like I said, anyone who wants to put the blame on Romo is really just looking for a scape goat.

Two of the INTs were on receivers who didn't run the right route - should Tony have not thrown it? Probably. But that's the point of the route, so the QB can drop the ball there knowing a receiver will be in the vicinity. One of the other INTs was actually a fumble when he was stripped on a shuffle pass, and another INT was on a tipped ball.

You can't say the defense was on the field too long and that caused them to perform poorly, because TOP was the same for both teams. Sure, you can blame injuries but when you can't get a sack against one of the worst performing o-line's this year, that's not Romo's fault.

What about lack of a balanced game? 53 pass attempts vs. 14 rush attempts - seriously? Nice play calling, Garrett. Thankfully this is the last year he's going to be in the "offensive coordinator" role ... and hopefully it'll be his last year in the "head coach" role.

Oh, and you can't blame our o-line either because hey, NO PENALTIES! Can't blame Witten because HE NEVER DROPPED THE FREAKING BALL. Can we blame Dez Bryant? Yah, quite a few dropped passes, and Ogletree wasn't targetted enough. At this point, the only constant on the offense is Witten.

hahahahahahahaha. you are an example of why people do not like the cowboys or their fans.

stop trying to act like the cowboys are a good team and that this one game is a fluke that they should have won.

they have been a middle of the pack team for 15 years. i heard on mike and mike on the way to work this morning that they are 177-177 since 1997. that is the definition of mediocore.

the team simply doesn't have the talent, and it won't as long jerry jones is running the show.

i'm wondering if you even watch football if you don't want to blame the o-line or romo. the reason romo threw some of those picks was because the o line had him running for his life. i remember seeing him making some crazy pass plays too while he was running for his life, especially the drive at the end of the 2nd half where he scored to miles austin. the o line is awful. and then you have romo making boneheaded decisions which result in picks.

the cowboys offense is the reason the bears scored 14 points with their defensive unit, and more because of the turnovers they had.

Please stop. You act like this is the first time that Romo stunk-up the place. The Cowboys will never go anywhere with him as QB. And he's demonstrated that over the last several years.
