I watched the game at Mickey Mantle's, had a good time, but the game pissed everyone off. :|
You know Mickey Mantle?! :Q:p

Mickey Mantle's is a restaurant and sports bar on Central Park South. Great place to catch the game (if you're a Yankee fan and) if you can't actually be at the stadium.

Losing to the Royals is inexcusable...just INEXCUSABLE. They are barely a Triple A club..

I hope they get swept just to see what good ol' George has to say.. its been awhile since Mt. Steinbrenner erupted.

Gosh. Randy Johnson on the mound and the Yankees lose AGAIN TO THE ROYALS. :|
They looked so flat. It's like they're all trying to hit 8 run homers.

Not looking so good for the Yanks so far tonight. Pavano gave up back to back homers to Stairs and Dye.

C'mon dudes.. I'm sure some of you guys are watching the game! What do you think of Pavano?? Randy Johnson?? If the Royals somehow sweep do you think heads will roll??

2nd homer was hit by Long.

I sure hope so. I'm sick of this, they look ultra-flat. It's not the pitching this time, they Yankee lineup can't hit! :|

oops...What made me think it was Jermaine Dye??!! eh.. my mistake.

Michael Kay was talking about Matsui's game playing streak and how Matsui is afraid of causing an "international incident"??? (I read that on some message board). Did Kay mention that?? I don't understand why Matsui thinks that streak is so important..a day off isn't a bad thing y'know.

Yeah, Kay mentioned it, but he said TORRE would cause an international incident if he sits Matsui. He never said that Torre is afraid to do it.

Unacceptable sweep at the hands of the worst team in the major leagues. I expect a golden nugget by General George Steinbrenner in the morning as heads may roll.

When the Mets were there earlier in the season the fans all started to chant, "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and did some arm gesture when Lyle Overbay was batting. Do you know when that started?? I don't remember that last season.

Bah, winning on a sac fly is so corny.

eh.. the Yanks gotta do what they gotta do to win. Twins made plenty of mistakes this series. I like Chien Ming Wang..he kinda reminds me of Jae Seo with that slow delivery and how he throws nothing but strikes. I'm sure the Yanks will trade him and Robinson Cano for some old veteran (like Clemens..etc) just so they can make it to the world series. I would keep them both..especially Wang who has been their most consistant starter (which is kinda sad really..but good for him!)
