I can see the Lakers closing it out tomorrow. They're one of the best road teams in the NBA.

Please bring Perkins back along with Big Baby. I sure hope they do so the Celts fans can't make excuses if Boston does lose game 6 on Friday. Personally I think the Celts are running out of gas and if they do end up winning game 6 its not going to be a "walkover" by any means.

11 point lead at the end of the first, 21 to start the 4th, never less than 14 down the stretch...just saying.

Beat LA!

Reality is so bright, you have to wear shades? ;)

Hey man I may be a homer but at least im not in here like some Lakers fans in this threads making comments about fouls.

If they watched the game, they would understand why the Lakers didn't get much fouls called. Instead they try and act like there is some conspiracy to keep the team that has won 10 NBA championships down.

10 ? ITs 14 and counting learn your math. Most REAL lakers fans know that. Your an undercover Boston fan. This is to all the Suns fans. They are just like the Cleveland fans. They HOPE for just 1 championship, but they have been the bridemaids so often it starts an inter feeling of failure. You guys just need to be patient. Once Nash is gone you might do it. The guy has been a lot of things in his life MVP, starting point guard in the All Star game. But NBA Champion NEVER, not with Nowitski, not with Amare. Before you say Kobe had a great big man, remember he had/has those 2. He will finish just like your other loser Barkley, great career zero championships. One last thing, listen to Charles B. on TNT he hates the Lakers, always picks against them, and hes ALWAYS wrong.

"Your {sic} an undercover Boston fan"?! 14? It's 15 for the Lakers. "Most REAL lakers fans know that." What kind of fan are you really?

Also, the LA Lakers have won 10 NBA titles. The Minn. Lakers won the 1st 5. So the total for the "Lakers" franchise is 15, but cheezy is not incorrect citing "10" for the LA Lakers.

I wouldn't exactly count the championships the franchise won when it was in Minnesota. Most REAL Lakers fans would only count the ones that were won while the franchise was in LA. You sound like a typical Lakers fan.

Kobe has always had a big man to help him win the championships. If you remember your history, the Suns have kicked the crap out of the Lakers in their last few playoff matchups. I remember Kobe started all the 'trade me' talk when the Suns kicked his ass for the 2nd time in the playoffs. Remember all that shit he talked about Bynum?

The Lakers got Gasol in a completely lopsided trade and they became title contenders again. They sucked pretty bad after Shaq left. Kobe can't do it by himself. He never will.

I stand by my original statement: Any Lakers fan who blames the refs is retarded. Your 10 championships is a testament to that.

Same lopsided trade that brought Garnet to Boston?

Example: Colts have 2,
Baseball Boston Braves (1948), Milwaukee Braves (1957) and Atlanta Braves (1969)

And more importantly basketball:

3 Golden State Warriors 1974-75 (as Golden State Warriors)
1955-56, 1946-47 (as Philadelphia Warriors)

3 Philadelphia 76ers 1982-83, 1966-67 (as Philadelphia 76ers)
1954-55 (as Syracuse Nationals)

And even the Oklahoma City Thunder have one if you look at thier website.
As the Seattle Supersonics in 1979

So you cant change the rules cuz you want to. We get to count them.

If you want BS trades look up the trade of Barkley to the Suns, that was BS. But hey it STILL didnt get you a championship. But enough of these dumb facts...lets get back to what us experts think.

I feel that a team that scores as much as the Lakers do inside would get at least as many foul calls as a team like the Suns who live and die on the perimeter. Just an observation. Maybe the Suns are the superior defensive team....nope. The lakers have all year been one of the BEST defensive teams. The Suns are staying in this beacause they get to have 7 players on the court. But it wont matter....and the great thing is that....all the Sun fans know this.

I stand corrected need to update the poster in my game room. 15 championships. 2 more to tie the Celts.

ron ron really coming out.

When he's shooting well, fogettaboutit, too many laker weapons.

If they win this game, it will be 'all about ron ron' from this point on...guarding Paul Pierce (and Bron) is a huge reason he's with the lakers imo and a big reason why they specifically went with him over Trevor Ariza.

Actually, Boston traded a young 20/10 guy, a decent bench guy (Gomes) and 2 1st round picks to get a KG who had already told management that he wanted out. Hardly lopsided.

See my response to a previous post about the foul situation.
