yep, watching t-mac in houston the last couple years has been painful. of course he's be interested but can't imagine the same from lakers. if the lakers pick him up, they'd be getting a guy who's :

-good for ~20 min/gm, or whenever his knee feels good
-if he's on point some scoring punch (if not, inefficient shots that make you go mad)
-if his mind is on it some decent defense (though lacks the athleticism now to be the defender he's shown flashes of back in the day)
-really good passer

I just read that the Lakers are interested in Raja Bell. Raja Bell would be a MUCH MUCH better fit with the Lakers. In fact, I don't see why the Lakers SHOULDN'T sign him. He comes off the bench, and can play pg or even sg. He's a decent defender, and can spot up and shoot. That's perfect for Lakers' interior passers, and for a slashing Kobe looking for an outlet pass.

I wonder if KING James would have the humility and professionalism to accept and praise the player who clotheslined him.

I think he'd be a pretty solid addition if he shoots well, but this isn't a steve nash run offense, muchless nellie ball, which is a shooter's dream.

If the Lakers don't get some young legs to replace Brown and Farmar, it's going to be a loooong season for everyone.

Raja Bell is old and washed up. The suns traded him at just the right time. Lakers will not sign Bell.

He probably would. Most athletes are less emotional about these things than the fans.

I remember when the Yankees signed Roger Clemens... Derek Jeter reportedly disliked Clemens because Clemens had beaned him several times, but once the Yankees signed him, the two got along.

Besides, what Bell did hardly qualifies as a clothesline. Now, this is a clothesline:

Crummy quality, need to watch at 1:15.
