I thought that "stupid skank" dropped the case and Kobe didn't have to pay her settlement $$? Didn't she sleep with several guys that day and wasn't her testimony inconsistent

The "stupid skank" dropped the criminal case, but she wanted some $$ outta Kobes, so she proceeded with the civil case, until they settled. Kobe needed to end it soon, so he wouldn't have to buy an entire f*ckin' jewelry store for Vanessa. 😛

Wow what an incredible show last night by Kobe.

I feel extremely lucky to have been able to see both MJ and Kobe in thier primes.

So... will His Eminence, David Stern, rig the lottery tonight so the "going to Brooklyn in 2 years" Nets get the 1st pick and make the new Russian multi-billionaire owner happy?

I'm eagerly anticipating the Wolves not moving up in the draft lottery for the 13th time! They've been in the lottery 12 times and have NEVER moved up. Only stayed put or moved down.

yeah, also if you discount that he charged right into the defender as well.
i don't know how they could possibly call a blocking foul on that.

Man that was such a pathetic call.

You know something is wrong when Grant Hill gets a technical and has 4 fouls halfway thru the 3rd quarter. Kobe was getting EVERY call. Im not taking anything away from Kobe, because he had a great game. The Lakers played a perfect game, but the refs sure helped them along the way.

seriously wow

Don't you think, though, that by the 3rd of those rings, Kobe and Shaq were equals?

No, Kobe had gotten better but so had Shaq during the three-peat. Then they did not get along for some reason, the assumption was always they had become two alpha males on the same team and thus got along a lot less.

It would have been nice if they had actually just accepted that when the 2004 Finals came, that Kobe had gotten even better and Shaq had started to decline a little. Shaq gets shipped out and the dynasty was over right when it was maybe halfway done with.

But hey, the Grizzlies gave away Pau Gasol for nothing because he whined and cried after he got his contract about playing for a bad team when he was the face of the franchise. I will always root against him. With him playing the #2 to Kobe and a great role playing cast, the Lakers should do well every year.

Orlando blows it in the final 30 secs. Carter misses two FTs and then the Magic waste too much time after getting the rebound with 12 secs left.

Celts up 2-0 in the series!!!

Vapor lock by Reddick. Too bad - he played a good game.

I hate the Celtics end-of-game offense when they're ahead. Too much iso.

I think Orlando can win in Boston. I don't see how either of these teams can beat the Lakers - especially if Bynum can still play a bit.

This is all Dwight Howard's fault. Magic's offense is all about drawing the defense in allowing the shooters to get open looks. Howard could not force the great Celtic defense to collapse on him because he just does not have offensive skills and the shooters rarely got clean looks.

omfg wtf is going on... why are all the loosing teams going down so quick and hard... 4-0s, 6-2s no 7 games anywhere... this season suks...
