Maybe it's just a Dallas curse. Lots of flash & dazzle. Great paper talent but no heart or guts when it matters. Same thing as the Cowboys.

Yeah it's great on paper that's it. Butler is primarily a jump shooter at this point and not a very good one. Kidd gets destroyed on defense and no longer can take it to the basket. Kidd has to depend on an iffy jumper and can't create shots for others like he should because they don't respect his drive or shot. Marion, Dampier, and Haywood are too up and down to depend on anymore.

The mavs need a young athletic 2, a legit point guard(Kidd is too old and Barea is too small, Beubois is too green) ,and a center. Neither Damp or Haywood is under contract next year.
 
You guys are not looking at it correctly. It's not the Spurs beating the Mavs. It's the Mavs beating the Mavs. Sitting your new All-Star for the whole 2nd half and no one except Dirk is even trying and a ton other things. They are just playing shitting. The Spurs are playing MUCH better than they have been all season but the Mavs themselves are the ones who are to blame.

So you're basically giving the Spurs no credit whatsoever, it's just Dallas is playing that far below their ability? Right…

I said the Spurs are playing much better than they have been but the Mavs are killing themselves and it's hurting them more than how good the Spurs are playing so I'm giving the spurs some credit but it's just Dallas killing themselves.

Yeah I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree there. But since you're obviously a blind homer I'll just leave it at that. IMO you and Cuban suffer from the same affliction: you're in love with the PLAYERS so much you can't figure out why your TEAM is losing.

Ok say what you want but if someone like Hill is scoring that high, you have to know that the Mavs are obviously not doing something right but ok think what you will.

Did you even watch the game? Duncan (only 4 points), Ginobili, Parker and Jefferson had 46 points combined. The Mavs shut them down hard. What more do expect them to do?
 
Suns kicked ass tonight. I was pretty scared at the start of the 1st qtr tho.

Jared Dudley & Frye finally got their shot back. Suns finish this in Portland on Thursday!

Yeah Suns were on fire. Portland can’t figure out that it’s a bad idea to get sucked into an up-tempo game with a much better up-tempo team.

It will be sad to see my Blazers exit in the first round again, but with the injuries we’ve had I’m a little surprised that they’re making this series somewhat competitive.

Alvin Gentry needs to sit the fuck down though. That guy bugs the shit out of me. He rides the officials all game long. I don't see how he's not T'd up more.

Gentry does talk to the refs a lot. He usually approaches them in a calm demeanor which usually makes it so he doesnt get technicals.

Its much better than the hissy fits D'Antoni used to pull when he was in PHX.
 
You're f'n kidding me. NBA TV has the Spurs/Mavs game. I can't get that without some high end sports subscription with Comcast.

Yea I don't think anyone was saying the Thunder were going to win @ LA. It's just sad that it even has to go to so many games. The Lakers have the best line-up in the NBA but under perform all the time.

Its hard to perform at your best when everyone on the team (outside of gasol and fisher) are injured.
