I'd almost rather have Bill Walton run headset mike than Marc Jackson. He. Tries. To. Make. Every. Line. Sound. Like. It's. Introspective.

And that's saying a lot because I'd rather jab a pencil in my ear than listen to Bill Walton masticate a microphone.

Yeah, Jackson is as bad as Van Gundy is good. The by-play between them is very good, though.

Dumb having Pierce try and do it all himself at the end of regulation.

I agree, the last few minutes of the game they spent too much effort focusing the entire offense on Pierce. On that last play it looked like Jameer fouled Pierce, but the offense was so ugly the Celtics didn't deserve the call.

Nice that Orlando is playing with guts.

I don't care if Nelson was an allstar...the guy has a 7' beast of an athlete prowling the paint and he can't find him. If Orlando wants to advance they need a PG that can actually run point and pass.

I think Jameer as a "scoring point guard" retards Howard's development as an offensive force. Sometimes Jameer delivers the ball in such a way that the receiving player can't do anything with it. A PG like Rondo (or Steve Nash!) would be very good for Howard.

Anyway, Howard made some big plays at the end, Jameer got llucky with a 3, and Pierce dropped the broom. I could see Orlando winning game 5, and then Boston starts sweating.

Vince Carter still having his Nick Anderson hangover

final line
3pts, 1-9 shooting, 3TO

Yeh Carter is a waste. He was a worse aqusition than Lewis. At least Lewis can hit a freaking free throw when it counts...let alone two of them in a row. Gortat has been an apathetic lump too. He just stands around on half the plays and sucks at rotating.

Orlando really misses Hedo. He might of made some bone head plays and tried to force things too much at times, but at least he would take command when it mattered and would attack the basket.

Barnes and Bass *need* to be on the floor more. These guys actually play defense instead of standing around and acting as a speed bump like Carter and Gortat.

Sure. More like a game 6 victory at home. You actually think the Magic have a chance to win this series?
It's highly unlikely. Then again, anything is possible. I seem to recall a stat from last year that Boston was 30 - 0 when leading a series by 3 games. Now that record is 32 -1. Anyone remember who is responsible for the "1" part of that record? 😉

Are you referring to last year's loss to the Magic? Boston never led that series by 3 games.

edit: damn, 5000 posts. /shakes head slowly

Sorry, I stated that wrong. Boston had won 3 games and was up 3 - 2. Previously when Boston had won 3 games their record was 30 - 0. The Magic came back to win it, in Boston.

Like I said, I highly doubt the Magic are going to win this. I'm not one of those blind fanboys that believes in fairytales. However, records are made to be broken. I'd at least like to see the Magic take the next one at home. If they then lose going back to Boston I don't really care. At least they made it a series.

Compared to last year this season's playoffs have been dreary and boring. It was fun to finally watch a nail-biter last night. The hangover I have from pounding drinks towards the end of the game? Not so fun.

I would like to see the series go to 7... imagine the drama!

Suns and Celtics is my dream for the finals. I admire Boston for its defense and one day, I hope phoenix can reach that while still maintaining its offense.
