That's pretty amazing that a smaller school like Utah having both the #1 picks in the same year. Everything I've read leads me to believe Bogut going #1.

Smaller school?!?!?!?!? The University of Utah has nearly 30,000 students. A small college is under 1,000.

what a waste of a 5th pick.

I think it was an okay pick. They needed a PG, and it's not like Felton is a total scrub. Having some UNC players will help fill a few seats.

If Sean May is there at 13, I think they'll take him too.

i heard May on Rome last week and he seemed hopeful to go to the Bobcats. Okefor and May might be a formidable rebounding front line...

It couldn't have worked out better for Charlotte. They get two really good players and insure a fan base for years to come, in a region that usually cares more about college sports.

They're doing ok. Okafor + Brezec + May + Kapono is a good rotation in the frontcourt, they might surprise people this year. I'm still rooting for my Warriors though.

Smart drafting, I must say.

and with a backcourt of Gerald Wallace, Brevin Knight, Jason Hart, and Raymond Felton, they've definitely got some good young talent.

Ike Diogu? damnit..

Who else were they going to take? They needed a PF and they got one.

Vazquez wouldn't have been a bad pick either.

I was hoping they get Sean May or Warrick or Vaz.
Ike is called the poor man's Elton Brand...not very reassuring.

the lakers should've traded up or traded down. they need a PG or a F/C, but taking Bynum with the 10th pick? what a waste!

Chad Ford seems very high on Danny Granger:

17 Indiana Danny Granger 6-8 235 SF New Mexico
I'm going on record right now saying that the Pacers have, once again, come up with the big steal in the draft. Donnie Walsh and Larry Bird know what they're doing. Granger was underrated all year. He'll be able to come in right away and play big minutes in Indiana behind Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson. He is tough and versatile, can shoot the three, can defend three positions and is an excellent athlete. I have no idea why he slipped this far, but the Pacers couldn't have gotten a better break. Had Utah been selecting at No. 6, they would've taken Granger. The Pacers just got a whole lot better. -- CHAD FORD

Nice pick for the grizzlies. Gasol and Warrick will be a good combo with jason williams in the back.

I was hoping warrick would fall to the sonics, Pairing him with Lewis at the 3/4 would be unstoppable.
