Seriously, what's the point? Are you somehow bettering yourself by boosting? Does a nuke count/emblem/insignia really make you feel better about yourself? It's not like there's some difficult in-game item that's hard to get that's achievable by boosting...that at least I could understand, it just seems so...pointless.

Getting the emblems is part of the game for me. Especially all of the animated ones, but boosting to get that stuff is pointless. Why bother playing if you're just gonna cheat?

Oh, I'm all for getting them, I had the AC-130 killstreak on forever trying to get said emblem, but cheating to do so...I mean come on.

It is funny because I've had the nuke emblem for quite some time. I have yet to even put it on. I love people who nuke boost, or use the old cheats to get the emblems and titles. Makes me feel better I've gotten them the legit way.

I say, if you're going to boost get three of your friends and do the glitched FFA lobby where only the 4 of you are in it.

If you want th emblems and accomplishments that much, don't ruin the game for anyone else.

Buddy of mine just got a 360 (after asking his wife for one for over a year). I decided to start him on the right foot, he borrowed CoD 4 last night. I'm hoping he gets hooked and buys MW2.

Just switched from PC to 360 on MW2. Had more friends playing it on 360. I feel like I'm tying knots with the controller. Any advice?

I want my mouse and KB back!

Practice. I switched from PC gaming to the 360 back in '06 and it took me a little while but it'll come to you. The controls will never be as precise as a KB/M but they work well enough (plus the game has a tiny bit of "snap" to targets since the controls aren't super precise).

I enjoy Xbox 360 gaming much more than PC gaming now though.

As said, practice. You can't expect to be able to pick up a controller within a week and own as well as you did with the controls you've been using for decades.

hey guys i used the search feature and had a hard time finding this info. Does Sleight of Hand Pro make a valuable difference? Everytime i find myself head to head with someone i always seem to lose the battle. i could have stopping power and be firing first but somehow i'm always losing these confrontations and it kills my killstreak chance. If i'm pretty decent at ADS with SOHpro give me an definite edge or should i just stick with Scavenger? I'm using ump45 with fmj right now.

Do you shoot before you go into ADS or do you hit the trigger after ADS?

I rarely used SoH until my last prestige, now it's on several of my classes. The faster aiming, while not absolutely necessary, does help. Although I like the fast reloading even more...

Will it help you win fights? Possibly, especially at medium-long range.

man i really want sitrep pro so bad but that requirement is tedious. I've got 28 out of the 150 or so required devices. It will be an awesome perk once i get it done but geez is it neverending.

most times i try to aim before shooting. unless they catch me by total surprise then i'll try hip fire first then ADS.

Sorry I didn't follow up with you earlier, didn't see the post update.

One thing I realized when I do "bad" is I'm not taking the opportunity to prefire. There's lots of times I'll kill someone before I even get into ADS, and I'll be in ADS for when someone else is following them. It's pretty helpful.

I'll keep that in mind. Hip-firing seems to run through ammo pretty quickly though and I don't use scavenger. I'm currently using the UMP which seems to have a fair ammount of ammo. I'll definitely try using that method.

I seem to have the best luck when I noob tube, unfortunately... I can get pretty good killstreaks with it, unlike my regular builds where I'm lucky to get even a 2 or 3 killstreak. I got a really funny message from one of the guys in my game too. The subject was "enemy ac130 above" and the body just said "big tits". I lol'd heartily.

Edit: Also, woohoo Resurgence pack for PS3'ers today!

Anybody else think the new modes 'barebones pro' are awesome? No killstreak rewards in team objective games is a LOT of fun. I can't tell you how many times I just get sick of playing in a game where there is harrier after AC130 after Chopper Gunner and you never really have a chance to do anything.

I enjoyed it until I got stuck in 5 S&D games in a row ... I don't enjoy S&D, heh.

so is this in the list when you decide if you want to play "domination" or "TDM"? Like it is an actual type of game you can play? I'm at work so I'm not able to log in and see. That is awesome though! Would prefer they had UAV available though. But thanks for the info!

I had a good time playing barebones the other night. Did quite well with my ump silent class.

yeah i've given up on the ump for now. Switched to using the M4 or something gun that is the first available. I realized how deadly accurate that gun is from anywhere on the map. Rate of fire is insane and clip size is nice as well. Coupled with stopping power it is pretty nice. I've been using hardline lately though to get UAVs up fast.

I wanted to be more of a team player so now I always use UAV. After two quick kills it is up and running and helping out my teammates. I'm actually starting to be intrigued by a possible riot shield class for domination. Think it would be cool to cap flags and defend them with that class. I always have a hard time finding games with a teamwork mentality, so i'm not too sure how many people would benefit from me using a riot class.

Riot shield ROCKS for Domination. Even if there is no teamwork it works very well. Most people don't know how to respond to a riot shield, so in 1 on 1 situations you should almost always win. You can also solo cap points easily. Just sit on it, crouched, with your back to a wall and it's very hard for you to be killed.
