On Wasteland once, the enemy had a counter uav up and I just got a harrier. Couldn't see a thing, and wanted to get it up asap...I ended up killing myself with my own harrier.. lol.

So I'm on a roll today on Favela. I've never gotten a Nuke before because it really wasn't a priority. But the other day i changed my killstreak to harrier, gunner, nuke. I open up in my favorite class...

UMP45 Silencer
Javelin/ Stinger

Scavenger
Cold Blooded
Ninja

... and i'm just on fire. Before i know it i've got my Harrier and I call it in. It lasts about two seconds before someone shoots it out of the sky and it yields me no kills. No problem because I weasle my way around the map and manage to pick off four more guys to get my chopper. I'm in the air for FIVE seconds before I see FOUR yes FOUR missiles headed my way and knock me out of the sky. The gunner yielded me two kills. I'm bummed out b/c i never have games like this where i'm on fire. I get past it and keep killing while counting the kills in my head. My friends I get to kill #24 and i'm going insane. I make my way down the front street that Flag A is located and am blown up by a launched grenade. I watch the kill-cam and see that this guy from the back corner where Flag C is located just lets off a random grenade shot into the sky. I watch this damn grenade fly across the map and then land five feet from me and destroy my hopes of that 25th straight kill.

I'm sure some people will say no big deal you'll do it again later especially with the setup you use. But i am not a great player at this game. I was going to have my one moment of domination and it was snatched from my fingers. *sigh* Such is life. Good thing this is only a video game.
 
So i just picked up MW2 for ps3...do i have to change some settings? it looks pretty bad compared to MW2 on my pc
 
Umm...that's a PC vs. a console. You're playing on 4 year old technology, there's going to be no comparison graphically.
 
Played a few games this morning. On Fuel I went 25-1 using a Tar-21 w/FMJ (trying to unlock all attachments). Several times in the game I knew where the enemy was (he was shooting at someone else) while partially hidden behind a wall so I shot through said wall and got a kill.

At the end of the game back in the lobby a guy says "Eveyone not on that Kabob guy's team report him for cheating, he's using a wallhack."

Some people just can't take getting their asses handed to them.

I was reported for "cheating" about a week ago. I regularly play with a group of guys that live a good 1500 miles from me, so there are occasional latency problems. It was smooth on my end, but apparently I was laggy for everyone else. The guy sounded like a typical whiney HS kid that is used to getting his way.

Nothing happened, but it's still annoying that people resort to that when they lose.
 
I totally understand reporting people with modded controllers, glitched names, etc. But even if they just watched the killcam it should have been obvious that I knew they were there...

When you see it you'll know it. If a sniper rifle goes off like an RPD, someone's using a modded controller (and thus, has no life). I was occassionally accused of it in COD4 because I could empty a deagle clip in no time flat.

Probably, and for the longest time I didn't see any in MW2, but in the past two months or so I've seen 'em alot more.

It's not usually the Barrett that they use it on. Most popular weapons are the pistols, the M21 EBR, and the FAL. With the FAL and EBR you essentially get a full auto 2 hit kill weapon with no recoil...it's ridiculously cheap.

I've been accused of it in MW2. For a while I was using the FAL religiously, and got pretty darn quick on the trigger. I had games where I'd finish with 25+ kills and get yelled at for having a modded controller in the lobby. My friends and I started joking about it before games start just to screw with people.
 
I can typically tell the difference between someone with fast fingers vs. someone with a modded controller. With fast fingers the firing will be quick but not perfectly rhythmic. With a modded controller there is the exact same amount of time between each shot. Played a guy today who I first thought had a modded controller with his silenced EBR but watched the replay and realized he was legit.

TAR-21 is my favorite gun while doing the FMJ/Extended Mag challenge. I even prefer it over the SCAR-H w/FMJ. Once I am done with the AR challenges during each prestige, I always go back to the TAR-21 with FMJ.

ROFL...not only are you cheating with SP, you're now using FMJ? OMG, Kabob..the biggest haxor in the game..hahahaha.

Honestly, I should turn off party chat after each match just to hear what people are saying about me when I use danger close and launch nades across the map.. lol

The Tar is alright but it's far from my favorite assault rifle. Typically I'll choose the M4, SCAR, or ACR before it. But it does get the job done well enough I suppose.

Just wait, next I'll be accused of cheating because my bullets will hit the guys I aim at...
 
I got accused of hacking once when I lept off a building (using commando pro) and miraculously knifed someone in the face right before I landed. He claimed it was part of an aim bot. It was awesome though!
