I did the same, I stayed with either the USP or Glock Burst, then saved for Colt/AK. 🙂
 
As Kabob noticed (by kicking my ass all over the map today), I finally started playing multiplayer. I'm one of those people that have to finish the single-player at least once before I can start playing multi. First thing I noticed last night, annoying high-pitched 12 year old are out in force. More interestingly, seems to be quite a few girls playing. Of course, this just meant the guys playing trying to hook up with the girls.

I was so sick I was knocked out all of Wednesday and most of Thursday. This threw off my sleeping schedule and I was up until almost 3 AM this morning playing. Woke up and then played some more. All the unlocks and achievements make this so freaking addictive.

I'm working through the Barret .50 cal sniper unlocks right now. I don't think I'll ever finish the FMJ unlock.

Ugh, I hate trying to unlock FMJ... very tedious and time consuming.
 
Anybody want to play tonight, or at all this weekend? Finally bought it (was $40 at Target) and am getting into the multiplayer.

Good find. Up to lvl 20 now. MP is so addicting.
I'll be playing later this evening if anyone wants to meet up.
 
Finally unlocked the ACR... definitely my favorite AR at the moment. I feel like the SCAR kicks a bit more and it has a lower rate of fire, so I don't like it quite as much.

Made a rush/knife class recently - I feel like it's really hit or miss. I can easily rack up a bunch of kills at the beginning and get my killstreaks going, but sometimes I can't get on a roll.
 
The other day my controller was running out of batteries. Then midgame, I picked up a gun I never used before. It seemed so accurate and had no recoil. I then realized that it wasn't a new gun but the 360 had disabled vibration on my controller to save batteries.

Get ready for the best tip ever - disable controller vibration in game and watch your accuracy shoot up.

It was good to play with you too! I suck with sniper rifles so I never use 'em. You weren't doing too bad with it though.

ACR is my favorite gun in the game. So great.

Ya know, I noticed the same thing. My batteries were dying and I seemed to start shooting more accurately.
 
I'll have to try to disable the vibration, interesting idea. Also, does anyone know if you gain XP in custom matches? In MW1 you didn't, but i haven't tested it this game.
 
ACR is quite possibly the best fully auto rifle in the game. Though I hardly use it

I wish the PC version wasn't so full of aim botters 🙁 I think I may need to pick this game up + the xim for my 360

I think it has the lowest damage rating out of all the ARs. Normally I do pretty well with it w/o stopping power (I like danger close better) but I'll put it on if I've been getting my ass handed to me.

I pretty much play Ground War with my friends due to the annoying 12 year olds. Just stfu and play the game.
