Intelligence: Not telling the forum mod to stfu...![]()
Played a lil' more last night, I've started using the Tar-21 to unlock a few challenges. It's not so bad now, I don't like it as much as my "big 3" (M4A1, SCAR-H, ACR) but it's not bad. It has good sights and while it still has too much recoil I've found that in 3rd person games it works really well.
Oh, and amazinly 3rd person games are actually pretty fun...I just wish there was a 3rd person TDM lobby instead of only having 4 man team tactical.
I meant to the annoying high pitched pre teens.. just stfu and play the game. Not Queezy. I'm empathizing with him...lol
This game is killing my productivity.
Unlocked the heartbeat sensor for the SCAR-H last night. Combined that with the Scramble Pro and Cold-Blooded perk and my kill to death ratio shot up into positive territory last night!
What's your most memorable moment so far in MW2?
Mine is durring a domination match at Terminal. The team is down and I'm getting my ass kicked. I'm at like 3-10 k/d, and decided I'd rush the opposing team cutting through the shop and and the hall towards C. I'm met by two guys, and while shooting one, I'm downed by both and was in final stand. I kill both of them, and a third that was overlooking and guarding C. While still in final stand, I crawl to the corner, and kill about 6 more people rushing up the escalators. We capture C, I use a predator drop and harrier, and my care package was an Apache. I finish the match 31-11, and we win the game. That was awesome!!!
Yeah, I went back and re-read your post and realized that's probably what you meant and edited my post. Sorry, shouldn't have called ya out!
Wow, you musta been doing really well, yesterday you had a .75 or so ratio, you must have been going way positive!
Warning though, don't rely too heavily on the HBS, people using Ninja will not show up on it and you'll disregard your other senses if you put all your faith in it to tell you who's around you. I don't use nor have I ever used it.
a few days ago on Terminal. I walked up the ladder in the rear of the plane and saw the entire opposing team standing in the aisle of the plane. So I mowed them down.
Oh, I wasn't talking about my overall ratio.Just my game-to-game ratio. More often than not I've been negative or even. After I unlocked the HBS my kill to death ratio shot up to 2 to 1 in games or more.
I don't want to get reliant on it but dang if it didn't help. I'm also finally getting the hang of most of the maps too for Team Deathmatch. Knowing the maps (unlike my first night) has been a huge help too.
Choosing between the Hardline and Cold-Blooded perks is tough too. Having to have one less kill to get UAV, Air Drops, etc is really nice but Cold-Blooded combined with Scrambler allows me to move around almost undetected. Which is awesome because before I felt like the opposing teams had a better idea of where I was than I did.
Queasy I would highly recommend against scrambler. What it really does is tell an enemy that you are in his immediate vicinity. I would combine ninja with cold blooded.

I've done something similar a few times on the snow map(can't remember the name, but it has the house overlooking B in the middle). Teams would camp in there, and I'd run in with my ninja perk on, and mow them down.
I haven't unlocked Ninja yet. I am planning on using it instead of scrambler when I do though.

Until then if you're running with an assault rifle go with Steady Aim...or Commando if you must.
I'm a big fan of Steady Aim.
Once I unlock Ninja I use it on most classes but there's always room for Steady Aim on one or two of 'em.

I use Steady Aim when I'm toting around a sniper rifle. Only way to have a chance in those unexpected close-up encounters since the sniper rifle takes so long to pull up to the scope.
