eh it's hard trying to defend it when a teammate dies after calling it, i will just take it, i haven't had anybody bitch about me taking it so far, altho i don't go out of my way. like if i see care package on the way, i don't go over towards the package. however if im fighting and someone calls one close to me or next to me, then i'll defend while they get it after it drops.
 
Well if I throw it and get killed and a teammate gets it I'm fine, if I throw it and he rushes forward trying to steal it it's annoying...

Then again I think I've been killed after throwing a care package maybe once?

I pretty much do the same thing, but I hate it when your teammate is sitting there and right when the cp drops he runs to it while I'm sitting right there.

I'm like "Are you f'ing stupid?"

Its a shame he doesn't provide cover.... but then again that would imply you guys were playing like how a team should play together. I've been lucky where that has happened to me only 3-4 times. Apperently it was a challenge to let a team mate pickup one of your care packages so I didn't mind all that much... but normally that just ain't cool (unless of course your dead).
 
Always some loser trying to steal care packages.



On another note, I'm a bit behind, are they planning on making more maps?
 
You know whats fun? Flashing a guy right before his care package lands and then steal his package! I kid, I kid

I've had it done to me by friends and have had my revenge too 🙂
 
Well, after my friends 360 finally red ringed a few days ago (launch elite that sounds like a jet engine), we rented mw2 on the ps3. Much better gaming experience so far (could change obviously).

Connection quality overall is better, and so far there are far fewer people exploiting (not one care package glitch yet).

Cons, frame rate is nowhere near as consistent as the 360, you have to turn off voice or mute everyone, and sixaxis isn't as precise.

I'm not trying to start a flame war over consoles just found it a bit amusing.

I did see a new to me glitch though on derail, a sniper was way up on the power lines near the C building.

That glitch isn't new although it's just not widely known. Apparently there's a way to get on top of the level in Derailed and run across the sky, I assume it's the same glitch.

Surprised that your connection speed was better, but I'm sure it varies from person to person.

Control-layout-wise which do you prefer, the 360 controller or the PS3 controller? I've never played an FPS game on the PS3 controller, although for fighting games it's much better than the 360s.

I prefer the Sixaxis layout but the 360's analog sticks.

It's an elevator glitch. I thought that they had been fixed with the out of bounds glitches, but I guess they missed one.
 
bah. i was having my best game ever on skidrow. and i got a disc read error just towards the end of it...

i dont even know what my final record was. but i was unlocking all kinds of challenges what not. what a waste. and if u get a disc read error it doesnt save any of the stuff you accomplish.

I don't believe that ever works. If you are not the one that called it, the time it takes you to take the package is way longer than the flashbang lasts.
 
I don't know why, but random people keep inviting me into games ... it's getting strange - is there a new negative XP bug out?
 
i LOVE getting an emergency air drop and then covering it with a harrier. every one hauls ass to the drop only to be gunned down trying to get my shit=]
 
one time when i used to use care packages (care package + emergency care package),
i had 6 queued up on the airport level, i was behind the plane, and dropped all 6. well EVERYONE on the other side started coming, and the 1st drop was a sentry gun lol
i put it down right away, and it mowed down their entire team. they killed me but i was able to get back easily enough for the other 5 (another sentry gun, chopper gunner, ac130, stealth bomb strike, ammo )

yea but it was a rarity, usually i'd get 2-3 uav or counter uav's and ammo lol
at which point i wouldn't bother going back to get them if i died
 
Ha, last night on Rundown.

Got two care package lined up, and I already had a chopper gunner from an earlier kill streak.

Dropped the packages, two more gunners, Oh...shit.

Went 33-3 that round, and got the last, oh, 17 kills, lmao. Three chopper gunners in a row completely destroyed any shot they had at anything.
