then it would turn into counterstrike where all you ever play is dust and dust2

There's maybe 2-3 maps that I dislike, and one I HATE to play is Rust. There seems to be a few people on here who love it, and hate the maps I love.

Yeah, there's several maps from the game that I think would make great MP maps.

Oil Rig
Suburban Subdivision
Suburban Restaurant/Bank area
Metropolitan Washington DC
The Pit (small CQB map)
Middle East School (from the first mission).
Outer Space!! (OK, not really).

I could definitely go for an Oil Rig and a Suburban Restaurant map. Those would be phenomenal. They'd just have to make sure there were plenty of vehicles for cover or it'd be another snipers paradise. Sniping is a fine strategy, but it needs a counter otherwise it turns into a boring game of everyone setting up camp. Sufficient cover to approach the sniper is that counter.

Nah, it would just automatically vote against a map for you when it came up, or when searching for a server would try to throw you into a game that didn't have a map up that you didn't like. I hate leaving a lobby with one of the maps I avoid up only to end up on a server already in the game on that map so I'm stuck if I don't want to back out.

Played a few games of FFA last night, there was a care package glitcher in one of them but he was pretty bad. He won the game but was something like 30-28. Then I joined blowfish for a few games of Domination. No glitchers and tons of fun, we just couldn't seem to hold the points on Sub Base though!

I take back what I previous said about Heartbeat Sensor...it is useful in FFA because (amazingly) so many people choose Commando as Perk 3. There was a time or two it saved my life (alerted me to campers). I won't use it in any other gametype than FFA, but it was nice, I don't want to start relying on it though.

I usually play TDM/ HC TDM...but last night decided that I would give Search & Destroy and Sabotage a chance.

First thing, Search and destroy. Two different fuckwads glitching.....you know how hard S&D is with a neverending supply of airstrikes and helicopters coming at you? Pretty damn hard.

Sabotage.....went to estate. Oh, great. I spawned with an M16.......all 5 other people had fucking snipers, worthless ass people.

Yeah we were leading that match for a while and then no matter what we couldn't hold on to anything. I kept running back and getting C for our team but 2 seconds after I get and bang I am dead and they get it back. Was still a close game though.

I think a lot of people forget about the C Flag on Sub Base. It never seems to be hotly contested in the games I play. I think since it is off the main path no one really cares.

Of course B is like the tunnels on Wasteland - crazy action.

I hate Domination on Sub Base because what inevitably happens is my team of randoms is up against a clan of guys who rush B and then all camp it. It's really hard to take and impossible to get back.

We started off holding A and B though. I think we actuall held B most of the map, we kept losing A and blowfish and I kept fighting for C (which we took several times).

I played a little bit yesterday...3 out of 5 games had the glitchers going. Its getting out of control.

I know all you have to do is back out of the game, but still...

Highrise with the glitchers is insane. chopper gunner with a couple sentrys up followed by a ac 130....

I've become a huge fan of HQ Pro. Anyone else play this? I think this should def. be played during our game night. TONS of action, generally not much camping. Quick respawns. I love games where I can go 55-15. Not many modes allow for that much action.

Yeah, they're everywhere now.

Yep we had to play a 2 man game on C. Unfortunately once they locked down A and camped on B we were done. Both us did our best to comeback and get B but got I blitzed pretty good several times.

I have been using Final Stand as my deathperk and even that didn't help at all.

I find that the silencer and UAV killstreak is very important on FFA as well.

I have been playing groundwar mostly because I can still party chat and it's a fun mix of TDM and Domination. With my new 'loadout' stag recommended I was doing crazy last night. People are getting fucking fed up with the carepackaging as the asshole who was doing it last night kept getting destroyed by everyone. It was great, people literally passed up easy kills just to get to the guy doing it to kill him.

Was playing Derailed using my stealth setup like I usually do. I heard a sniper near me, so I found a hiding spot to look for him and within seconds I saw him run right past me, so I turned around and stabbed him. I continued on and ran into another sniper who I killed. I moved a little farther and caught one of the first two guys coming back to get me, and I killed him. This happened AGAIN, which gave me 4 kills and my care package. I found some cover nearby in case one of these guys was dumb enough to come back for some more (each time they expected me to be where I had been previously, but I kept moving).

Then one of my teammates came up to me, stood directly behind me, and threw his care package directly in front of me. Just then one of the snipers came back, and he finally got me. Unfortunately I wasn't wearing a headset, so I have no idea WTF my teammate was thinking. Even if I wasn't there, it was a terrible spot to throw a care package. Meh.

Other things that make me hate my teammates -
- If I'm standing behind some cover, but not touching that cover, that's not an invitation for you to stand in front of me.
- If I'm standing against some cover, that is not an invitation to stand behind me.
- In general, if you're standing within 5 feet of me, I don't want you to be there.
- Time you spend trying to steal my care package is time you could be spending killing someone.

i gotta get to learn these maps, i;ve got a decebt shot but i don;t know were to look

if anyone wants to play add me to XBL Just Blaz3 954

It doesn't happen very often, but it's so damn annoying when someone sees you standing behind some cover, and then walks in front of you and stays there. I usually shoot them or stick them with a semtex.

Now, I'm not going to lie about care packages. If I see you throw one, I wont even attempt to take it. However, if you throw one and someone kills you, yea I'm gonna take it, better someone on your own team than the enemy.

I have had teammates watch me throw the marker than wait for it to fall and walk up to it, bastards. I'm so glad it takes longer to pick up a care package when it isn't your own.

I don't waste my semtex, it's too useful and doesn't hurt them. I throw a flashbang in front of them, that DOES affect them and I rarely use them effectively anyway.

Absolutely, if they want to take it after I die that's fine. If they're standing there watching the smoke waiting for the package they're just being worthless. They're still not going to get it unless I die, and while they're watching the smoke they're more likely to get shot unexpectedly. If they want a shot at my package (er...) they could do something useful and try to defend the area (while secretly hoping that the package lands on me). Speaking of packages landing on you, it seems like if the package is moving AT ALL and hits you, you're dead. That's kind of silly.

Hey Cuda, I got your invite tonight. Unfortunately I wasn't able to join because I was in a party with friends. Maybe next time... 😀

I remember vehicles doing the same thing in Battlefield 2. If you got out of one when on a gentle slope and it started moving, you'd die if you just touched it trying to get in or around it.

Unless the situation is really ugly, I usually try to protect other peoples crates until I see if they can respawn and get it. If there are lots of enemies coming in and it looks like everybody is on the other side of the map, I'll grab it.

People who think emergency airdrops are communal property do piss me off to no end.
