If I were a Yankees fan, I wouldn't be happy about the prospect of Andy Pettitte on short rest.

and it was close. One more game then to close this thing up.

It wasn't really that close at any point. A 2-run deficit in the 9th, even with the tying run at the plate, is not that close. That isn't a situation in which you win very often.
 
hamels at the least deserves a break, and he deserves to start a game 7 if there is gonna be one. He's a big reason why the phillies are here today and he's still young. He'll rebound next year. Some of the talk philly fans i'm hearing and the media that want him traded is absurd.
