I showed that Hamels is 1.5 runs better at home than away this year and Pedro just shut down the same team who rocked Hamels. Pedro is a seasoned vet at pitching in NY in October, and his return to form easily makes him the solid choice to start Game 2 in NY. It doesn't matter that Pedro pitched better at home than away because he just shut down the Dodgers on the road IN LA. He is the obvious choice, give Hamels a chance to try to return to form at home and not give NY extra confidence by decimating him in NY. If they decimate Pedro, who cares? Nobody expected him to do well anyway and they can start Happ in his place if it goes more than 5.

Miss Cleo, is that you? Pedro pitched pretty fcking good aside from one mistake to Tex and Hideki golfing a pitch that could have hit his toes. I like the Phil's chances tonight.
 
I expect the Yankees to win the WS, but I hope that the Phils can at least make them sweat it a little and force it to seven games. Or make it go into extra innings to get all the rich, corporate "fans" to go home.

Can someone tell me why Yankee fans boo Pedro every time he throws to first base??? Why are you booing a baseball player for.......playing baseball? It's shocking I know, but throwing to first base is a baseball play. Maybe they didn't get the memo.

Matsui stepped out of the box twice in that at bat, and they didn't boo, but if any Philly players did, they do. What exactly are they booing? I hate idiot fans.
 
Pedro has nada tonight. Maybe its time for him to go home and relax under a mango tree with a bottle of presidente.


What happened with JA Happ? He should be warming up right away.

Uh, the opposing team's fans ALWAYS do this. Were you not watching any of the games that took place in Philly?
