fox just did it and it looks like it caught the inside corner. the way the ump has been expanding and moving this zone i think it was close enough.

I hate the FOX/TBS/whomever pitch tracker .. it very rarely matching up with whatever the ump feels like calling anyway. I thought that pitch was in there, as well.

It's fed from an MLB system called Pitch F/X. The networks simply display the data. Though accuracy varies from stadium to stadium, it's usually pretty damn close.

Here comes Mariano for two innings. Girardi doesn't want to mess around.

I don't blame him, the Angels would be dangerous in a Game 7. It's going to be a tough climb for them to string together 2 runs against Rivera.

Edit: not to mention that a Game 7 would mean that Sabathia would be unable to start Game 1 of the World Series.

Nice throw to first. Angels are done. I won't be able to sleep tonight with all the Yankee fans that will be hootin' and hollerin' in the streets after the game.

At least the Giants just gave up the game.

Eli made a terrible decision, threw into coverage, and got picked with 1:20 left down by 7. Cards ran the victory and it ended.
