Huge win for the Dodgers, especially considering the fashion they did it in. If there's such a thing as momentum in baseball, the Dodgers just snagged it back.

Maybe you're blind, but it was on the line when they kzoned it. Look at the replay again and tell me it didn't hit the line. Regardless Happ shouldn't let it come down to borderline strikes when the umps have been tight with the zone for both games. Good luck to LA, they'll need it with Cliff Lee waiting for them in Philly.

Cliff Lee may have to go nine for them to win game 3.

ROFL@TBS, the east coast broadcast showed it hit the line (almost halving the ball) in the kzone. All in all, it shouldn't have come down to Happ had Utley done his job. The good news is that Manny can't hit sht now that the pitchers have figured out he can't catch up to the inside fastball. Can LA win without Manny hitting? Philly still has better hitting and starting pitching. The only way they'll lose is if they beat themselves, like today. LA is an inferior team.

Sabathia looked strong. Lackey really really really needs to have a strong first inning... that hit by Jeter didn't help.

Edit: Not good!

2 - 0 Yankees lead after one is pretty bad. Lackey was alright, but the Angels really dug themselves a hole.

Oh, it's bad. But first two batters on 3rd and 2nd, no outs - the two came in but only after that brutal error. Given the game should be a low scoring affair, two runs in the first is mighty nice for NY.

darkxshade -- agreed. CC is dealing. Also your sig is awesome 🙂

Lackey was playing with fire in that last inning... here we go Angels!

What a play by Mathis!

A Rod was an idiot for running through the sign, though Ibanez sucks as a fielder, there's no way he scores there.
