yep interesting to see which padilla shows up tomorrow. the mid-upper 90's early phillies pitcher... or the crazy lack of control freak who'll throw at your head if you hit a home run off him. after seeing that game where he tried to plunk the entire angels line-up, think im going to guess the latter will show up.

Like I said, he's facing a lefty dominant lineup and his numbers against lefties are awwwwful.

Man, Phillies pitching has struggled to get that first pitch strike tonight.

Edit: IMO, this is a mistake. Madsen can't find the strike zone, so why are you letting him throw to Manny F-ing Ramirez?

Good win. The Phils offense was definitely opportunistic. Didn't get a lot of chances, but brought the runners in almost every time.

The pen made it interesting, but got the last out when necessary. Can't wait for tomorrow.
 
same. perhaps he prayed to the baseball gods and asked for talent in exchange that he'll no longer be a dirty pitcher. of course if his first pitch to howard in his next at-bat is at his head or hits him, then i retract my theory.
