The replay showed that pitch was a borderline strike. Phils are gonna have to overcome some ole home cooking calls now.

Yeah, the pitch was definitely low. Even though the Phillies gave up those runs, I don't have an issue with the way Manuel handled the 8th. Seemed like he was playing arm/batter matchups and using a bit of historical stats. It just didn't work out.
