:Q😱:disgust:

I watched this game on ESPN after watching the horrible Knicks lose yet another.

This was quite the fun game, esp. since I really didn't have a preference for either team to win. Man Kobe kicked arse in the 4th qtr.

Bah, that 4th quarter reminded me of the Sacramento series in last year's playoffs for Dallas... way too many uncontested dunks and layups given up by the Dallas defense (or lack thereof). Hopefully this will light a fire under their ass and remind them that there's 4 quarters in a game.

its portland's game 7 2000 WCF 4th quarter all over agian

but i do believe this was larger lead? 27point start of 4th? 😀

Lakers were losing by 13 to start the 4th back in 2000, 71-58. It was 75-60 with about 10 minutes to go. Then the Lakers went on a 15-0 run to tie the game (mostly thanks to Horry and Shaw's three pointers and great team D).

During game 4 of the WCF last year the Lakers trailed by 24 in the 2nd quarter but it was a steadier comeback (the deficit was single digits going into the 4th).

dang i missed the whole game...

went on to nba.com and read "Kobe Bryant scored 21 of his 27 points in the final period as the Lakers, who trailed by 27 after three, outscored the Mavs 44-15 down the stretch."

from reading the posts.... you would think the Lakers LOST LoL

I didn't see the game but could get a gist of the excitement just following this thread!!

Unfortunately I think this sends a message to the nba that you've still got to go through LA to get a ring. :frown:

As much as I hate to say it, gotta give props to the Lakers. Dunno wtf happened to the Mavs in the 4th quarter though, but to be down by that much and come back to win shows something. Like I said in my first post, the Mavs had to have won this game to have proven themselves, and well, they made themselves look pretty damn pathetic.
