Official: Mack Brown whines his way into the BCS

theres a reason he gets the top recruiting classes each year and constantly underdevelops them....
 
wow is this a joke? texas was 4-1 against top 25 teams. cal was 1-1 against top 25 teams. there is no reason texas should have ever been behind them in the bcs. go whine somwhere else:roll:
 
i just say screw michigan...i wish we could see cal vs. texas...stupid automatic bids....make em all at large in my opinion
 
well texas supposedly deserved a bcs game last year too and go owned by washington state, it will be fitting to see them get smoked by michigan this year

Look, bcs is not a complete system. If there was no bcs, cal couldn't go to rose bowl either. and so on, and on and on..

Should have complain why a team with three loses (pitt) could go to a bcs?
 
It's ironic that you're being a little bitch and whining about Mack Brown whining. STFU, Texas is in the Rose Bowl, Auburn is not, go kill yourself if it bothers you that much.
 
i have lost ALL respect for aaron rodgers. read that article. he explicitly says the system is bad and THEN complains that mack brown did it. well fck you buddy, you're gonna lose to tech in the holiday bowl! and kalster is a worthless tool.
 
I'm not a fan of either school (Cal or Texas). Even since the Chris Simms days ("I'll take that question Chris"), I just love listening to Mack whine. Texas choked as usual against OU, while Cal came within one play of beating the #1 team in the country. If it wasn't for Mack's incessant whining and lobbying, Texas would not be going to a BCS game.

so if texas loses to ou it's a choke job but if cal loses to usc it's some amazing performance?:roll: great logic there. you people need to stop complaining about what mack did. either way they were moving up. people were talking about it BEFORE the a&m game. everyone knew if cal didn't beat so. miss by 3 touchdowns they would get jumped. just get over it.

I would be so happy if OU, UT, A&M, Tech, and OSU won their bowl games(Orange, Rose, Cotton, Holiday, Alamo). Maybe people will start to respect the 7-4 Big 12 teams.
 
big 12 south had all but 1 team in the top 25 during this season. have fun losing to the 4th best team in our conference, cal.

yes i know. I don't mind that. Because unless there is a playoff everyone will be arguing who exactly the top 3 teams are. I like the old traditions. Where in the Rose bowl the Pac 10 champ met the Big-10 champ. Now its Texas vs Michigan? what da? Who in CA is going to want to go see that, besides michigan, texas alums?

Nice rationalization there horn......don't use it all up though....you'll need it after next year's RRS and your usual ass kicking. On second thought....better save some up for....how long is Mack's contract? Well anyway....as long as he is there and Stoops is in Norman you better get used to crying....

That being said.....Texas is a better team than Cal. Put Cal in the Big 12 South and they would have finished just ahead of Baylor.

Texas loses to OU every year, Cal BEAT USC last year. Texas got dominated as usual (zero points scored, Peterson 200+ yards rushing), Cal almost won on the last play of the game.

Is that logical enough or is you head too far up Bevo's ass to appreciate the truth?
