Darn. I personally don't think the Lakers will make the playoffs. Oh well, at least my Packers are winning in footbal. :p

Good game. And for the haters who can't do anything but that (Hamburgerpimp
)... how many championships do the Kings have?

When the Kings were down by 12 in the 3rd quarter I thought they were going to give up...but the Kings pulled one out and made
my Christmas that much happier!

What is going on with our Lakers??? BTW, why are they talking about Lakers getting Lebron James? Is he gonna be available soon? Or are they talking as if the Lakers might not make the playoff, thus have a high chance to acquire Lebron James if he chooses to goto the NBA? I haven't been following this kid but I heard he's the next coming of Jordan.

What the ESPN was insinuating was that the Lakers might be tanking games just to get a lottery chance at Lebron James, which I don't believe one bit. Yeah kid is good, but who know how he'll turn out in Pro level. We all seen high schoolers fail more than succeed, but he sure looked good when ESPN televised one of his games couple of weeks ago.

I don't know about Lakers intentionally losing but if they don't make the playoffs, they might as well do so to get a decent spot on the pick. I think it's time the Lakers need something new. This old formula worked well 3 years ago but as each progressive year goes by, the other teams are getting steps and bounds better while the Lakers are slightly improving, if at all.

Lakers played a pretty good game tonite. They had the game but gave it up in the second half pretty much. If they can play like that the rest of the season, we'll make the playoffs hopefully.

Huh, what?

If they play like that (ie, giving up in the 2nd half), they will win the LeBron James lottery.

from ESPN.com

O'Neal had 27 points, a season-high 17 rebounds and five assists, but shot just 8-of-19 and made 2-of-8 after halftime -- both after the outcome had been decided.

He didn't speak with reporters afterward.

Geez, for a guy who was talking so much smack over the Summer and up till this game, he sure didn't have anything to say after that game.

Well at least the Lakers resembled some of their former self last nite. Let's not forget who they were playing, it was the Kings (the BEST team in the league right now). I was trying to say that we will beat most teams out there if we play as good as we did in the first half. Lakers are looking stronger, and hopefully will rebuild themselves by playoff time.

Yeah...looks like the Lakers got alittle tired at the end.
The Kings seems to have countless weapons at their disposal. They have a great bench.

No, the Lakers need to not even advance to the playoffs this year.

the lakers don't. muhahaha. i hope kings take it all the way.

and i doubt lebron james is going to lakers - if he does, i've doubt those three will last b/c they're all showboat. each wants to be a star, and it isn't going to happen. this brings me back to when shaq was teammates with hardaway in orlando, then they split. and carter and mcbrady in toronto, and they split...see what i mean??

Yeah, I doubt it would work. I mean Shaq and Kobe are already all-stars and have won 3 championships together. They both want to be stars and it wont work.
