Man I hate to say it. My Sixers look tired and like they just have ran out of bullets. You are starting to see the wear of the long road to get there.

nope they are just playing a better team, plain and simple.

why is there always some excuse when a team gets worked like the 6ers have twice on their home court? the lakers are just better, deal w/ it you ball-less wonder (for not taking my bet)

BUT, there is still friday!

SIXERS... PLEASE WIN ON FRIDAY!!! I DON'T WANNABE WEARING AN UGLY UGLY SIG THAT STALIN MADE UP!!!!

In the end of the the trash talking, about refs being biased, played with heart and this and that. It really comes down to who WINS.

Snow: F!^# hate that mother!!#$#@, i hate his little mutt face everytime he makes a shot!!

while the lakers are going all the way, I definitely have to give credit to Eric Snow and Matt Geiger. I think those two are really great players. Forget Iverson or Mutombo.

LAKERS IN 5!!

I have a friend who's been going to the games at Philly and he's a die hard Laker fan. He's laughing his ass off at some of the stuff people are saying in the stands :)

I actually want them to win there so it just stings that much more on there home court! We'll still get the parade and Philly can have the riots. I wanna see what THEIR fans do :)

I didn't take the bet Stalinator because truthfully I honestly don't like you. Thats why. Nothing short of that. I give the Lakers their due. But most of the guys that are now Laker fans really aren't, just front runners. They show up every single year. You'll go out this weekend and you'll see Avs, Lakers, and Yankee gear so much you'll think there is a clearance sale. Most losers need to root for only teams that win.

Ahh my wife is very nice looking thank you. Have your fun. Just make sure that when they're losing your still a fan of those Lakers. Of course I know you won't be, fraud. By the way what's your wife look like? That wasn't her on the Mighty Dog commercial was it? :p

I'm not one to believe in winning a series before it's over. The 76ers have beaten the lakers... they can do it again... I'll be celebrating when the lakers are celebrating on the court.

Philly beat the lakers when they were playing their best ball (after winning a game 7) and LA was just coming off a 10 day rest. As kobe said last night, the lakers are just now getting in sync and playing like they can. Even Doug Collins made a comment in the first half about how the lakers haven't played this well since the san antonion series. Then philly made their brave little run and the laker shooters ripped their hearts out.

Just like a camper with an AWM/AWP, they tore the team to shreds. :p

It goes to prove how Pathetic the NBA is when team like the Flakers can dominate. The Jordan Bulls Teams, the Magic Johnson Lakers or the Bird Celtics would have swept these non Free Throw making Butt Brothers in 4 easily. Kareem Abdul Jabbar would have schooled that Tubby Shaq and Jordan would of made Kobe his Weekend Plaything.

It'll be very hard for Philly to come back....

Lakers has never had a 3 game losing streak since the Phil Jackson era began 2 years ago....plus, no NBA team has lost a 3-1 lead in the finals.

Funny that NBA guys like Jack Ramsey and Hubie Brown are saying this Laker team is playing some of the best basketball they have ever seen. The last three Jordan Bulls teams would have gotten beat by this team. Those three Bulls teams won in a time when the league has JUST become diluted by expansion. The 72 win Bulls team came in the same year the league added Vancouver and Toronto.

Kareem could have scored vs Shaq, but no way in hell could Kareem slow down Shaq on the defensive end. I was listening to an interview with Al Attles the other day, and he said that Wilt told him before he died that he would need help to defend Shaq. I think the 80's Lakers would still beat this team in a 7 game series, but this team would give them a series. Shaq is simply unreal. He will go down as one of the top 5 centers in the history of the NBA. I don't think anyone can dispute that now, and if they do, they are hating plaing and simple.

But saying this team is playing amazing basketball doesn't mean they would beat all the great teams of the past. What is means is, this team is playing a quality game. The league has definetly been diluted, but this team is playing at a very high level. The rest of the league will have NOTHING for the Lakers next season. I predict 65 wins at least.

we need to stop comparing. this team is good. whether you like to admit it or not, they ARE good. maybe not the best, maybe not the worst. but they can handle themselves well.

it's true that you have your bandwagon jumpers. then on the other hand, you have your "bash anyone who is at the top" or the i always go for the underdogs so fck the team who is winning.

above all the bandwagoning and trash talking, this team can be the best of all time. not to say that they can beat all the greats....but in terms of championship rings and so forth.

this isn't the NBA of the 80's or 90's or whenever. it is an evolving league and right now, the lakers are one of, if not the, dominating team. (i like THE dominating team but that's MO)

<< i doubt jabbar could defend shaq an better than mutombo. >>

Tubby Shaq would foul out by the third quarter trying to defend Jabbar. On top of that Jabbar would have killed him with free throws.

<< Funny that NBA guys like Jack Ramsey and Hubie Brown are saying this Laker team is playing some of the best basketball they have ever seen >>

THose guys are nothing but shills saying what ever the NBC Executives want them to say. The proof is in the ratings and the ratings are down as is the skill level.

many of the commentators are former NBA players. not that anyone has to respect what they say, but they do have valid points (more valid than anyone that has not played in the NBA)

they know what they are talking about cause they have been there, plain and simple.

i will take what they say over almost anyone. (not always though)

Red, the great thing about you is your unwaivering consistency. You may be wrong, but at least you're going to stick with your take until the cows come home. These bandwagon philly lovers could learn a thing or two from you. ;)

Shaq would kill Kareem, and Jordan would have a tough time with kobe. This lakers team would destroy any of the teams you're talking about.
