Couldn't disagree more. President Bush struggled a lot more tonight than in Debate 2, which I'd call a tie or perhaps a 1% victory for Bush. I'd say Kerry won rather handily, albeit not as widely as Debate 1.

Those polls are pointless.
Maybe we were watching two different debates, but Bush was the clear winner to me, and by enough to make it noticeable. Kerry was on the offensive the entire night-he seemed to be out of it throughout the entire debate. Possibly my favorite word tonight was "idear."
My take:
3rd Debate: Bush--clearly
2nd Debate: Close to a tie, but Bush with a slight lead
1st Debate: Kerry
Each debate leaves a different message with me. As this is the last debate, and with 20 days before Election Day, I honestly am scared with even the idea that John Kerry could be the President.

I tend to agree. I think that poll conveys the fact that Kerry won by a small but meaningful margin (I say that because the poll included so many more Republicans than Democrats - it seems safe to assume that an even sampling would add at least a coupla points to Kerry's total).
Especially given the President's educational background!

Not sure how Kerry won this deabte. He spent half the night defending himself and the other half saying he has a plan but not explaining what it is. Bush also answered the marriage amendment question perfectly where Kerry had to resort to the low blow of bringing up Cheneys daughter again.
Bush at least outlined his plan for taxes, health savings plan, education, and social security.
I would give this a 60-40 win for Bush. And I agree the 1st debate went to Kerry to the tune of 70-30, the 2nd debate was a tie.
Amazing debate results imo. In the debates where both were supposed to be strong they faltered. Bush didnt do so hot on foreign policy and Kerry just bumbled around on domestic issues.
Going to be a damn close race imo.

I dont care how much reaching out you need to do. If somebody equates you to Hitler just leave them alone. They wont listen to you anyways.
But Bush could run on his record of having 3 African Americans in his Cabinet. How many did the NAACPs favorite Clinton have?

Oh I don't know. Who "won" is so subjective. If your a Bush fanboy, you heard all the right talking points. If you're a Kerry fanboy, same deal. If you're a swing voter, you're probably STILL undecided and will likely flip a coin on the walk from your car to the polling place. Both candidates seem to be hitting their message pretty hard -- they mostly seemed redundant and repetitive to me, although I suppose that would only be a problem for someone watching all 3 debates.
It's in the UN declaration of human rights. If the US has ratified that, then it is legally recognized in your country. Of course, you could interpret that this passage just means that it must be provided, not that you can't take away someone's house after you provide it.

I don't really want to revisit this argument, but what I hear is a lot of apologism, and I'm damned sure you wouldn't say the same thing if President Kerry declined to speak to some comparable high-vis special interest group that every other modern President had addressed. You'll forgive me if I don't agree that President Bush is more enlightened than his father, President Reagan, and every other US president in the last 70 years, when it comes to speaking to the NAACP.
