It's still a full hour too early for this, though. PST still has another 50 minutes to go at the very least.

And it looks like no live stream on Apple.com today. They always put up a placeholder before.

Dual-core Cortex A9 CPU running at 1.2GHz, likely either 512MB or 1GB of RAM, a dual-core PowerVR SGX543MP2 GPU design, and (hopefully HD) front-facing camera, 2/3 the thickness of the last generation, and hopefully 2/3 the weight as well (hitting closer to .5kg, 1. lbs range), display is fairly different from the last generation, so expect some magic in it, but resolution is not likely to be any higher.

And it'll either run iOS 4.3, or a custom 4.x build, or even iOS 5 but somehow that'll also mean iOS 5 won't bring drastic changes.

Apple decided not to announce anything? You know, just like totally psych everybody. I could see the rioting that happens in the streets. That'd be hilarious.
